Essentria G Granule Insecticide
Essentria G Granule Insecticide, manufactured by Zoecon, is a plant Oil (Hexa-Hydroxyl) based ready-to-use Granular Insecticide. It can treat a wide variety of insects like ants, chinch bugs and other turf insects.
This easy to use granule product provides outdoor protection against turf and ornamental insects without leaving toxic odors nor harming sensitive areas in yards.
Essentria G Granule Insecticide is an environmentally friendly insecticide that contains no pyrethroids or bee restrictions to treat hard to control insects.
Tools Needed
To properly apply Essentria G Granule, you could shake the granules out of the bag or you could use a push spreader or hand spreader. We recommend using the push spreader for broadcast applications and the hand spreader for small localized applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: We suggest cutting the lawn before making applications to ensure the granules seep into the soil. Determine how much Essentria G Granule Insecticide to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment site in feet then multiply together (length X width = square footage). Apply 2 to 5 lbs. of Essentria G Granule Insecticide per 1000 sq. ft. for exterior perimeter treatments. For ant mounds and nest, sprinkle 1 to 2 teaspoons of product over the nest. For turf and landscape treatments, apply at a rate of 3 to 5 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Pour the appropriate amount of Essentria G Granule Insecticide into your selected spreader. Calibrate your spreader at the appropriate rate. Walk with a steady pace to disperse granules evenly. You may also stand above ant mounds and treatment areas with a handheld spreader. Apply uniformly to ground area 5 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to structure.
- Step 3: After making a complete application, only water treated turfgrass and landscape areas with 1/8 to 1/4 inches of water, but stop watering before puddling occurs. Repeat application as necessary.
Where to Use
Essentria G Granule Insecticide can be used outdoors on lawns around residential areas, sports fields, commercial and industrial properties, school yards, and other non-agricultural areas.
When to Use
Apply Essentria G Granule Insecticide when treating for targeted insects on label approved turfs, lawns, or flowerbeds and around the perimeter of foundations. It can be used as a spot treatment when ant mounds area developing.
Do not apply during windy weather or 24 hours before heavy rains, as this can cause the granules to drift away while making applications or wash away after applications.
