EcoVia G Granular Insecticide, manufactured by Rockwell Labs LTD, is a botanical based insecticide that can both control and repel insects listed on the label.
Formulated with a higher dose of natural oils than many other botanical based products, EcoVia G Granular Insecticide works well to have a much longer residual repellency.
EcoVia G Granular Insecticide can even be applied to the soil of interior plants.
Tools Needed
To effectively apply EcoVia G Granular Insecticide you will need either a push spreader, handheld spreader, or duster.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much EcoVia G Granular Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length x width = square footage). For general applications, exterior perimeter treatments, and to control mosquitoes and ticks, apply 1-2 lbs of EcoVia G Granular Insecticide per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Calibrate the spreader to the appropriate setting then load the measured amount of EcoVia G Granular Insecticide into the spreader.
- Step 3: Apply the EcoVia G Granular Insecticide evenly across the treatment area. To create an exterior perimeter treatment, apply in a uniform band up to 2 to 5 feet wide around the foundation, including all landscaping, under bushes and shrubs, under overhanging decks, and other areas adjacent to structure.
- Step 4: Repeat every 4 weeks or as needed.
Where to Use
EcoVia G Granular Insecticide should be used for outdoor applications and may also be applied to the soil in interior plantscapes. It may also be used on turf, landscaped areas, ground cover vegetation, wooded areas, under bushes and shrubs, under overhanging decks, and other areas adjacent to structure.
Do not apply directly to surface water. Keep out of lakes, streams and ponds.
When to Use
EcoVia G Granular Insecticide can be used as an effective treatment once signs of listed pests are present.
Safety Information
EcoVia G Granular Insecticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.
If applying to indoor plantscapes, be mindful that some may find the odor objectionable and only apply in areas with adequate ventilation and at lower usage rates.
Special Conciderations
Unlike other granular insecticides, EcoVia G Granular Insecticide does not need to be watered in.
Product may transfer oil and mark surfaces such as concrete, pavement, brick, polymer or wood. Target application to natural surfaces.
