Duraturf Total Lawn Weed Control Concentrate
Duraturf Total Lawn Weed Control Concentrate is a versatile herbicide that offers pre- and post-emergent weed control in warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned lawns. Both forms of control results in a beautiful, weed-free lawn.
Duraturf Total Lawn Weed Control Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is a premium-quality herbicide that specially targets germinating and emerged weeds in residential lawns as large as 10,500 sq. ft.
With its two active ingredients, this product sets the standard for broadleaf weed control against weeds such as yellow nutsedge, crabgrass, dandelions, and more within days. Additionally, its selective formulation kills weeds while leaving turfgrass unharmed when used as directed.
Duraturf Total Lawn Weed Control Concentrate is highly effective against a wide range of common and stubborn broadleaf weeds, making it an essential tool for the average homeowner.
Tools Needed
This product can be applied using a hand trigger sprayer, pump-up sprayer, or hose-end sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Duraturf Total Lawn Weed Control Concentrate to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For cool-seasoned grasses, apply 2.75 fl. oz. of Duraturf Total Lawn Weed Control Concentrate per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. A second application for cool-seasoned turf at the rate of 2.75 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. will need to be done when 30-60 days have passed after the first treatment. For warm-seasoned turf, use 5.5 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. A second application only needs to be done for the warm-seasoned turf type St. Augustinegrass at the rate of 4.0 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Make a second application to St. Augustinegrass when 30-60 days have passed after the first treatment. This product may be applied more than once per year if needed as long as total amount applied does not exceed the maximum application rate listed per turf type or 8.25 fl oz/1000 sq ft per calendar year, whichever is lower.
- Step 2: Add half the amount of water to the spray tank, then pour in the proper amount of product. Pour in the remaining half of the water to the spray tank and agitate until the solution is mixed.
- Step 3: For pre-emergent applications, spray the solution over the entire lawn. Any weeds you see in your lawn should have the top and bottom of the leaves sprayed until wet, but not to the point of runoff.
