Tools needed
To Use MSMA 6.6 Herbicide, you will need to mix the product in a sprayer of your choosing such as a pump sprayer, a backpack sprayer or a professional spray rig for larger volume applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much MSMA 6.6 Herbicide you will need by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and the width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take your square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 = acres). For golf course and sod farm applications, you will need 0.9 fluid ounces of MSMA 6.6 Herbicide per 1 to 2.5 gallons of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft. For treatment of highway rights of way and cotton crops refer to the label for rates and restrictions. Do not make more than 2 applications of this product per season.
- Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer tank with half of the required amount of water and then add the measured amount of MSMA 6.6 Herbicide. Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with the remaining half of the water. Close the sprayer and shake until the product is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the target weed with the MSMA 6.6 Herbicide mixture, making sure to get even coverage via the fan spray setting. Do not water the turf for t least 24 hours after application.
