Dicamba + 2,4-D Herbicide (generic Weedmaster) by Alligare LLC is a selective post-emergent herbicide used for controlling a wide spectrum of annual, biennial, and perennial broadleaf weeds and brush in grass forages and selected row crops.

Target Pests

Dicamba + 24-D Herbicide is for the control of broadleaf weeds such as buttercup chickweed cocklebur dogfennel henbit kochia morning glory nightshade pigweed rageweed smartweed clover dock goldenrod groundsel honeysuckle poison ivy mesquite and many other listed weeds.

For Use In

Dicamba + 24-D Herbicide is for use in conservation reserve program land fallow systems (between crop applications) general farmsteads sorghum grass (hay or silage) pastures sugarcane and wheat.


For a broadcast or spot treatment of Dicamba + 2,4-D Herbicide mix at a rate of 0.5 to 4 pints per acre per application depending on target vegetation.

For broadcast applications use 5-40 gallons of spray solution per broadcast acre for best results. Use the higher spray volumes when treating dense or tall vegetation. Do not make spot treatments in addition to broadcast or band treatments.

Coverage Area

Coverage area of Dicamba + 2,4-D Herbicide varies depending on size of container purchased, target vegetation, and application site. For general coverage 1 quart will cover approximately 1/2 acre if used at the higher rate.

Time to Kill

Dicamba + 2,4-D Herbicide begins to eliminate target weeds shortly after treatment but may take up to several weeks to completely kill off unwanted vegetation.

BEST ANSWER: Creeping Charlie is not listed on the label for control with Dicamba Plus 2, 4 D Amine. Have you tried using a broadleaf week killer before in your specific lawn?

BEST ANSWER: Since this product will work on almost all broadleaf weeds, it should control and eliminate black medic.

BEST ANSWER: It is an effective product against crabgrass but since crabgrass is so stubborn it could take more multiple herbicide options for the most success. BEST ANSWER: Apply 1 to 2.75 pints of this product in 20 to 100 gallons of water per treated acre, (1/3 to 1
fluid ounce per 1,000 square feet). When using low-volume application equipment, 3 to 20
gallons of water per acre is acceptable. 1 to 2 pints (1/3 to 0.7 fluid ounce per 1,000 square
feet) of this product may be used for annuals, 1.5 to 2.75 pints (0.55 to 1 fluid ounce per
1,000 square feet) for biennials and easy-to-kill perennials, and 2.75 pints for established
perennials. Do not apply more than 5.5 pints of product per treated acre.

Amazing, where a respirator too! Killed the nasty mairstail horseweed that is fuff to kill. Worked great after i got the right mixture.
