Cutless 0.33G LGR
Cutless 0.33G LGR
Cutless 0.33 G is manufactured by SePro and is a systemic landscape growth regulator ideal for suppressing the growth of woody landscape ornamentals and perennial ground covers. Cutless 0.33 contains the active ingredient fluprimidol, which can effectively reduce the growth of ornamental plants so they stay compact and don't grow as vigorously. Cutless 0.33G is absorbed in the soil via the plant roots and moves through the growing stems and leaves, slowing down growth so there is less frequent trimming and pruning needing to be done. It is not meant for residential use.
Tools Needed
To use Cutless 0.33 G you will need to use a hand or broadcast spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: To figure out how much Cutless 0.33G you need, you will need to determine the square footage of the treatment area as well as the height and mass of woody stems and foliage volume. To do this, multiply the area to be treated (in acres or in square feet) x the required amount of Cutless 0.33G per unit area which corresponds to the desired rate. Applications of Cutless 0.33G should be done at a rate of 3.5 lbs to 20.9 lbs per 1000 square feet depending on the area conditions and the type of landscape ornamental being treated. (For Example: If the area to be treated is 450 sq. ft. and the desired application rate is 7 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft., multiply 4.5 x 11.2 oz./100 sq. ft. to get 50.4 oz or 3.15 lbs. of Cutless 0.33G to be applied)
- Step 2: Load the appropriate amount of Cutless 0.33G to your spreader.
- Step 3: Apply the Cutless 0.33G uniformly to the ground cover or over the top of low-growing woody plants. Apply when rainfall is expected or apply a minimum of 0.5 inches of sprinkler irrigation into the root zone after application.
Where to Use
Cutless 0.33G can be used to control growth on woody ornamental plants grown in containers landscape, ornamentals, woody or non-woody ornamental shrubs and hedges and non-woody or woody ground covers. It is not meant for use by homeowners.
When to Use
Apply Cutless 0.33G 1 to 5 days before or after shaping or pruning plants for the best results. Apply repeat treatments every 2 to 6 months.
Safety Information
Cutless 0.33G is safe to use when it has been applied properly according to the label and has been given time to dry. Be sure to wear the proper PPE before mixing and applying Cutless 0.33G (gloves, protective eyewear, particle mask, long sleeve clothing, closed-toed shoes).
Special Considerations
The amount of Cutless 0.33G required for optimum growth depends on the height and mass of woody stems, foliage volume, sunlight exposure, soil texture, rainfall and temperature conditions and species tolerance.
