Conquer Residual Insecticide
Conquer Residual Insecticide
Conquer Residual Insecticide is manufactured by Paragon and is an insecticide which contains the active ingredient Esfenvalerate, a powerful insect killing chemical. Conquer has a broad label and is versatile, being able to be mixed with water or oil and could be safely applied as a space spray using a fogger. Use it to control major pests including cockroaches, ants, fleas, ticks, stored product pests, spiders, carpenter ants and even deer ticks.
Tools Needed
To use Conquer Residual Insecticide you will need either a hose end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, a fogger or spray rig. For small household jobs, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon pump sprayer or a 4-gallon backpack sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Conquer Insecticide you will need for your application by calculating the square footage of the area you will be treating. You can do this by multiplying the length times width (length x width = square footage). The rate for Conquer Residual Insecticide is 1 to 2 fl. oz. in 1 gallon of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft. So for example, if you have 3,000 sq.ft. to treat you will need to mix 3 to 6 oz. in 3 gallons of water to cover the entire area.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer halfway with the required amount of water and then add the appropriate amount of Conquer based on your calculations. Fill with the remaining half of water, close the lid and then agitate well to ensure the product is suspended.
- Step 3: Apply the Conquer insecticide solution in cracks and crevices and directly to insect mounds as a perimeter barrier treatment around your home and spray in cracks and crevices.
- Step 4: Repeat application as needed, but do not exceed more than one (1) application every seven (7) days in restaurants and similar food service establishments or more than one application every fourteen (14) days in all types of food handling establishments.
Where to Use
Conquer can be used indoors and outdoors to control a wide range of pests. Use in and around homes as well as Schools, Warehouses, Office Buildings, Apartments Buildings, Theatres, Hotels, Motels, Kennels, Food Processing Plants, Food Service Establishments, Truck Trailers, Railroad Cars and Food Manufacturing and Warehousing Establishments. Also for Use on Lawns to Kill Fleas and Ticks. Focus your treatments around woodwork and floors, underneath sinks, areas behind pipes, and in all non-food contact places where these insects shelter.
When to Use
You will want to use Conquer Residual Insecticide when pests activity is high. For most areas of the country, this is between the spring and summer months. Apply the product quarterly for year-round control.
Safety Information
Conquer Residual Insecticide is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Be sure to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying. Conquer Insecticide should be stored safely out of reach of children or pets and after applying everyone should be kept off the treated area until it is dry.
Special Considerations
Because Conquer is an emulsifiable insecticide formulation, it will need to be constantly agitated in the sprayer during application for best results.
