How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Captain Jack's Deadweed Brew Concentrate to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Use the 3% solution for small, easy-to-kill weeds, less than 5 inches tall, and for moss and algae. To achieve a 3% solution, mix 4 fl. oz. of product with 1 gallon of water. Then apply the mixed solution at a rate of 2.5-7.5 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the measured amount of product, then pour in the required amount of water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is mixed.
- Step 3: Spray weed thoroughly, using a coarse nozzle setting to reduce drift. Thorough coverage is extremely important. For spot treatment of individual weeds, apply the mixed solution to the center of the plant to the point of runoff. Repeat treatment every 2 to 3 weeks to control new weeds growing from seed and re-growth from biennial and perennial weeds. Avoid spraying desirable plants. Thoroughly wash equipment after use.
