Bonide Rose Shield RTU
Bonide Rose Shield RTU is an effective multi-purpose insecticide and fungicide that controls a range of insects and diseases on ornamentals for up to 30 days.
04/21/26
Bonide Rose Shield RTU, manufactured by Bonide, is a ready-to-use, dual-action spray that is perfect for protecting roses, flowers, and landscape ornamentals against pests and diseases.
As an all-in-one product, it simplifies plant care for the average plant owner, combining insecticide and fungicide properties into one convenient spray. Bonide Rose Shield RTU offers three-way control - contact and systemic control to kill insects like aphids and others plus systemic disease control to stop fungi such as black spot, leaf spot, and more.
Bonide Rose Shield RTU is a gentle fungicide and insecticide that gets the job done on various insects and diseases without creating thick films of pesticide on foliage. This clear non-staining formulation enables gardeners quick plant care results while still being able to enjoy the beauty and odor of ornamentals.
Tools Needed
No additional tools are needed as this product comes ready to use.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Rose Shield RTU to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). One 32 fl. oz. container of Bonide Rose Shield RTU will treat 121 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Twist the nozzle tip to adjust the spray pattern.
- Step 3: Spray uniformly to wet the top and bottom of leaves, but not to dripping. Insect control lasts for up to 30 days. Reapply as needed. For disease control, reapply in 7-14 days, if necessary.
- Step 4: When done spraying, turn the nozzle to the “OFF” position.
Where to Use
Bonide Rose Shield RTU can be used on roses, landscape plants (trees, shrubs, foliage plants, and groundcovers), and flower beds.
Do not use on plants grown for food or feed.
When to Use
