This permethrin-based concentrate provides a level of pest control comparable to professional pest control services for the average do-it-yourselfer homeowner. Once applied, pests such as carpenter ants, ants, crickets, and more will perish within several days thus preventing costly repairs on structural damages and reapplications.
Bonide Revenge Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer Concentrate is an advanced product that successfully manages pests existing in home lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas. The quick penetration and residual of this product ensure the pest infestation is taken care of at the source and long after treatment.
Tools Needed
Apply using a sprinkler can, handheld pump sprayer, or a low-pressure sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Identify areas showing signs of pest activity, such as damaged wood, sawdust, or insect sightings. For low infestations or general maintenance, use 0.25 finished spray which can be made by mixing 2 2/3 fl. oz. of Bonide Revenge Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer Concentrate with 1 gallon of water. For heavy infestations, apply a 0.50% finished spray by mixing 1 1/3 fl. oz. of product with 1 quart of water. To control fire ants, dilute 2 tablespoons of this product in 1 gallon of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer halfway with water, add the concentrate, and then top it off with water. Shake the spray tank well until the solution is mixed.
- Step 3: A general pest control treatment will be done as a spot or crack and crevice treatment by spraying the treated area thoroughly. Repeat treatment as needed to maintain effectiveness for general pest control. To control fire ants, Apply 1 gallon of solution as a gentle rain to each fire ant mound using a sprinkler can. Thoroughly wet the mound and surrounding area to a 4 foot diameter.
- Step 4: For subterranean termites, mix 5 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water. Around piers, pipes, chimney bases and along foundations of poured concrete, dig a trench 6 inches wide and 4 inches deep. For brick and block foundations, dig the trench about 12 inches deep. If footing is more than 12 inches deep, make holes with a crowbar, pipe or a rod about 1 foot apart that extend from the trench bottom to the top of the footing. Make holes closer in hard-packed clay soils. Apply the prepared emulsion (or solution) in the trench and to the backfill soil at a rate of 4 gallons per 10 linear feet per foot of depth. Cover treated soil with a thin layer of untreated soil.
Where to Use
Bonide Revenge Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer Concentrate can be used outdoors on the outside surfaces of buildings, home lawns, flower and vegetable gardens, fruit, nut and ornamental trees.
Do not apply as a broadcast treatment to indoor surfaces at residential sites including nurseries, day care centers, schools, hospitals and nursing homes.
When to Use
Apply during or before pest infestations on days when rainfall is not expected for the next 24 hours after application.
