Bonide Fruit Tree & Plant Guard Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is a high-performance, multi-purpose formula containing an insecticide, fungicide, miticide, aphicide and scalicide to control pest and disease outbreaks on a wide range of plants.

It combines powerful insecticides and fungicides, offering broad-spectrum protection against pests and diseases that threaten plant health such as chinch bugs, ants, aphids, blossom blight, and more. Due to its concentrate design this product allows for multiple applications, making it economical for large residential gardens and orchards.

Bonide Fruit Tree & Plant Guard Concentrate dual-action formula addresses multiple threats, reducing the need for separate pesticide treatments making it a cost-effective product. By protecting crops and ornamental plants from pests and diseases, the concentrate helps promote healthier growth and larger yields.

Tools Needed

It can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or hose-end sprayer.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Fruit Tree & Plant Guard Concentrate to use by measuring the treatment area's square footage. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For fruiting vegetables except curcurbits, use 1.25 fl. oz. of Bonide Fruit Tree & Plant Guard Concentrate per gallon of water. To treat ornamentals, apply 2 fl. oz. of product in 1 gallon of water per 1,500 sq. ft. Do not exceed 2 fl. oz. of this product per 1,500 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
  • Step 2: Fill the tank sprayer with half the amount of the water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
  • Step 3: Apply thoroughly as a foliar cover spray to both sides of plant leaves and all plant surfaces where insects or diseases are present. Reapply in 7-14 day intervals.
