Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is a fast-acting herbicide concentrate that is effective against a broad-spectrum of broadleaf weeds, including hard-to-kill varieties like dandelions, ground ivy, and more in home lawns.

As a concentrate, a single bottle can cover large areas of your lawn up to 5,000 sq. ft., offering excellent value for money. Additionally, it provides systemic action control meaning it will remove present weeds all the way from the top to its root for total elimination without harming turf.

Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer Concentrate is a time-saving herbicide solution that helps homeowners save time and effort in weed control due to its quick formulation and broad-spectrum weed control. By eliminating unsightly weeds, your lawn becomes more uniform and visually appealing, enhancing the overall look of your property

Tools Needed

You will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or hose-end sprayer.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer Concentrate to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area’s length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). Apply this product at the rate of 2 pints in 4 to 50 gallons of water per 10,000 sq. ft. or 3.2 fl. oz. of product per 2.5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not apply more than 2 broadcast applications per year with a minimum retreatment interval of 21 days.
  • Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the measured amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of weeds until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not mow for 1 to 2 days before or after application. If another application is needed, wait until 21 days have passed from the first treatment.

Where to Use

Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer Concentrate can be used on weeds in residential turf (Bluegrass, Fescue, Rye, Bent, Bahia, Bermuda, and Zoysia).

Do not spray carpetgrass, Dichondra, desirable clovers, centipede, or St. Augustine.

When to Use

Apply when the weeds are actively growing on days when the temperature is below 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do not apply to newly seeded grasses until well-established (they have been mowed 3 times).
