Black Out Expanding Foam Applicator Gun is manufactured by J&R Products and is a foam application gun for applying foaming products such as Black Out Foam to seal small gaps, cracks, voids and other possible pest points of entry. This convenient applicator is easy to use and is Teflon coated, which makes for easier cleanup after application.
Tools Needed
To use Black Out Expanding Foam Applicator Gun, you will need a can of Black Out Pest Control Foam, paper towels to clean up any mess, acetone or nail polish remover, and a spray water bottle.
How to Use
- Step 1: Identify and prep the areas where you should apply the Black Foam and shake the product well before use. Remove any intruding material blocking access of the area to be foamed.
- Step 2: Attach the Black Out Foam can to the applicator gun. Attach the accompanying straw, invert the container and begin dispensing the foam to the target areas to seal cracks and crevices. Slowly apply the foam, evenly filling the gap, keeping in mind that the foam will expand.
- Step 3: Go back and fill any other gap with an adequate amount of foam and then wipe away any unwanted, uncured foam with a cloth soaked in acetone or nail polish remover.
- Step 4: After 10-15 minutes, press a gloved hand to the foam to check if it has dried out. If it has not, spray water on the foam to help speed the process. After an hour, inspect the gap or crack to make sure the foam as fully cured.
