Banrot 40 WP Fungicide
Banrot 40 WP Fungicide
Banrot 40 WP Fungicide, manufactured by ICL Specialty Fertilizer, is a easy to use wettable powder fungicide that will control damping-off, root and stem rot diseases of ornamental and nursery crops caused by pythium, phytophthora, rhizoctonia, fusarium and thielaviopsis.
Combined with 2 powerful active ingredients etridiazole 15% and thiophanate-methy 25%, which work together to prevent and control diseases from the top layer of plants all the way to its root.
Banrot 40 WP Fungicide provides professionals an excellent disease control at the beginning of a crop cycle or during its transplant stage when foliage is most susceptible to harmful pathogens.
Tools Needed
Banrot 40 WP Fungicide can only be applied through pressurized drench (flood), sprinkler, or drip (trickle) irrigation systems.
This product should not be mixed with other pesticides or nutrients.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Banrot 40 WP Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To treat bedding plants (soil 2" to 3" deep), apply 4-8 oz. of Banrot 40 WP Fungicide with 100 gallons of water per 800 sq. ft. of bed area. For bench plantings of tropical foliage plants, use 6-12 oz. of product in 100 gallons of water per 400 sq. ft. of bench area. For container and bedgrown plants, mix 6-12 oz. of product in 100 gallons of water per 400 sq. ft. To treat seed beds of coffee seedlings, apply 4 oz. of product in 50 gallons of water and apply 1 gallon per 1.2 square yards two days prior to sowing seeds. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: In a separate tank mixing container, fill the sprayer with half the amount of water then add proper amount of Banrot 40 WP Fungicide. Fill the rest of the way with remaining half of water and shake until solution is well-mixed. Pour the mixed solution as instructed for your chemigation system.
- Step 3: Adjust irrigation system to deliver Banrot 40 WP Fungicide mixture to the soil layer of plants until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Irrigate immediately with additional water equal to at least half the volume of the fungicidal drench for improved soil penetration of the fungicide. Re-treat at 8 to 12 week intervals to maintain disease control.
Where to Use
Use Banrot 40 WP Fungicide in commercial greenhouses only to treat ornamentals and nursery crops like bedding plants, bench plantings of tropical foliage plants, bedgrown plants, container plants, seed beds, conifer seedlings, container seedlings, and liners.
Use in residential greenhouses or other indoor plant sites is prohibited.
When to Use
Banrot 40 WP Fungicide can be applied at the time of seedling, transplanting, and to established foliage.
