Tools Needed

A handheld spreader, push spreader, or broadcast spreader could be used. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much ATEP Hi Mag Trace Element Package to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For medium applications on turf, use 1.4 pounds of ATEP Hi Mag Trace Element Package per 1,000 sq. ft. For high applications on turf, apply 2.3 pounds of product per 1,000 sq. ft. A general application on container ornamentals in a trade 1-gallon container will use 3 grams of product per container. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Set your spreader to match the granule size and desired rate. Start with a lower setting and calibrate if needed. Load the proper amount of product. 
• Step 3: Apply evenly across the turf by walking at a steady pace in overlapping passes to avoid striping or missed spots. Stand directly above container ornamentals and spread thoroughly across the soil. All applications should be watered immediately with 0.20 inches of water. 

Where to Use

ATEP Hi Mag Trace Element Package can be used on all turfgrasses. It may also be used in container-grown and landscape ornamentals. 

When to Use

Apply any time during the growing season while foliage is actively growing. Avoid applications if heavy rain is expected.

Do not apply the product 2 or 3 days prior to an anticipated frost.

Safety Information

ATEP Hi Mag Trace Element Package is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product. 

Special Considerations

This product contains the micronutrient iron for extra greening and to help prevent iron deficiency. Iron may stain concrete and other surfaces. Misapplied product to these surfaces should be removed promptly by sweeping or blowing. Do not wash off with water.
