Anuew EZ Plant Growth Regulator, manufactured by Nufarm, is a superior plant growth regulator that offers consistent performance on both warm- and cool-season turf, making it a versatile choice year-round. Additionally, it helps control Poa annua seedheads, even in mixed species stands, and supports seedhead suppression in Zoysia and other grasses. 

Its active ingredient is prohexadione calcium 10.0%, a Class A late-GA (gibberellic acid) inhibitor, which means it targets the last steps in the GA synthesis pathway responsible for upward shoot elongation in grass. Translation? Less top growth, more root and lateral growth, and deeper color.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Anuew EZ Plant Growth Regulator to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the warm-seasoned turf, apply 0.4 to 1.2 fl. oz. of Anuew EZ Plant Growth Regulator per 0.25 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Based on the cool-seasoned turf type, use 0.05 to 0.8 fl. oz. of product per 0.25 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. Do not make more than 47 applications per year.
• Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake well. 
• Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of turf leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not irrigate the treated area for 4 hours after application. A repeat application can be made when 7 days have passed from the previous treatment. 

Where to Use

Anuew EZ Plant Growth Regulator can be applied to golf course fairways, tees, greens and roughs, residential and commercial lawns, sod farms, sports fields, cemeteries, and municipal sites.

It may be used on sodded or sprigged turf after it has knitted down and rooted firmly.

Do not use on food crops or on grass grown for seed. 

When to Use

Make applications when the turf is green and actively growing. Apply using 1-4 week intervals based upon turf species, turf growth as influenced by weather conditions, and management to achieve the desired level of growth regulation and playing conditions.

Safety Information

Anuew EZ Plant Growth Regulator is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not graze treated areas or feed clippings to livestock.

Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until the spray has dried.

Special Considerations

Some temporary yellowing of the bermudagrass turf may be observed, however, this will not affect the overseeding.

It is rainfast within 1-4 hours.
