Alligare Everett Herbicide
Alligare Everett Herbicide is a low-volatile post-emergent herbicide that controls various trees, brush, and broadleaf weeds in agricultural, industrial, and non-crop sites.
04/20/26
Alligare Everett Herbicide, manufactured by Alligare, is an efficient herbicide concentrate that controls a broad-spectrum of broadleaf weeds, brush, and trees within 14-21 days.
This post-emergent herbicide contains 2 active ingredients 2,4-D and triclopyr, which interferes and disrupts plant growth leading to delayed and uncontrolled growth. This combination ensures comprehensive control over a wide range of undesirable vegetation such as dogwood, clover, and cocklebur.
Alligare Everett Herbicide effectively manages a wide range of unwanted vegetation, enhancing the utility across various sites. Its dual-active ingredient formulation, coupled with flexible application methods and broad-spectrum control, makes it an excellent weed control tool.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a backpack sprayer, handheld pump prayer, or a spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Alligare Everett Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To control broadleaf weeds in small areas of rangelands and pastures with a hand sprayer, mix 4 to 6 fl. oz. of Alligare Everett Herbicide in 3 gallons of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and agitate until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray to give thorough coverage of the foliage, wetting all leaves and green stems to the drip point.
Where to Use
Alligare Everett Herbicide can be used on rangeland, permanent grass pastures, conservation reserve program (CRP) acres, fence rows, non-irrigation ditch banks, roadsides, other non-crop areas and industrial sites.
When to Use
The best time for treatment of biennial and winter annuals is when plants are in the rosette stage. Otherwise, make applications when the weeds are actively growing and rainfall is not forecasted within 24 hours of treatment.
Safety Information
Alligare Everett Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until the spray has completely dried.
Special Considerations
Only commercial applicators may treat residential turf and other turf sites. It is not intended for homeowner use.
