Alligare Crop Oil Concentrate Surfactant, manufactured by Alligare, is an excellent oil and surfactant blend that makes plant control effortless with herbicide and defoliant products.
Formulated with the active ingredient Paraffin Base Petroleum Oil 83%, which helps to reduce surface tension between plants and spray droplets to promote better pentetration with minimum use of herbicides.
Alligare Crop Oil Concentrate Surfactant offers superior weed and brush pentration to ensure weed-free properties with selected herbicides and defoliants.
Tools Needed
To use Alligare Crop Oil Concentrate Surfactant, you will need to mix the product in a herbicide or defoliant within a pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig. It may also be used aerial application equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Alligare Crop Concentrate Surfactant to use by reading your selected herbicide or defoliant label. For weed and brush control foliage sprays, use 1 gallon of Alligare Crop Oil Concentrate Surfactant per 100 gallons of finished spray solution. For increased efficacy in late season weed and brush control sprays, use 2 gallons of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. To make aerial and ground sprays using 5-50 gallons of water per acre use 1-2 pints of product per acre treated. To increase coverage of mid to late season sprays for aerial and ground sprays, add 1 to 2 quarts of product per acre. Do not exceed 2.5% v/v concentration.
- Step 2: Fill spray tank one-half full of water, add the desired amount of herbicide or defoliant and continue filling. Add the correct amount of Alligare Crop Oil Concentrate Surfactant last and continue agitation.
- Step 3: Make applications of mixture with Alligare Crop Oil Concentrate Surfactant as instructed on its label.
