Petcor Flea Spray
Petcor Flea Spray
Petcor Flea Spray is an effective flea killing spray manufactured by Zoecon and is a go-to for pet owners who want to relieve their beloved pets from irritating flea infestations. Petcor Flea Spray can be safely sprayed directly on the animal to immediately kill adult fleas that may be present. The product also contains methoprene, an insect growth regulator that will inhibit the growth of eggs and flea larvae.
Petcor Flea Spray can kill fleas, ticks, lice, & mosquitoes on pets and keeps them from coming back. Combined with an insect growth regulator, Petcor Flea Spray can keep eggs from hatching for 63 days. Petcor Flea Spray can be used to treat fleas on dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Do not apply to puppies and kittens under 12 weeks of age.
Tools Needed
Petcor Flea Spray comes ready to use with no other tools needed for its application. It is recommended, though, that you use a cloth to spray the Petcor onto and apply with that so that you can safely apply the flea spray to sensitive areas of your pet, like around the eyes and mouth.
How to Use
- Step 1: Apply Petcor spray directly to your pet with a firm fast stroke, starting head and working your way back to the tail. Spray the head, ears, and chest at a rate of 1 or 2 squeezes of the trigger per pound of body weight.
- Step 2: Rub your pet's fur in the opposite direction and spray so that the Petcor can reach the skin. Apply around eyes, mouth, and ears with a cloth then finish spraying making the tail the last area treated. For puppies and kittens weighing less than 3 lbs, wrap them in a towel that has been lightly sprayed with Petcor or apply to a cotton ball and thoroughly work into the coat.
- Step 3: Apply as needed until your pet is no longer irritated from itchy fleas. Preventatively spray Petcor after spending time outdoors and coming back inside or conduct a preventative treatment every 2 months for continued protection.
*NOTE: When applying Petcor on cats, please read the label thoroughly and apply lightly. DO NOT allow animals, cats, in particular, to become chilled.
Where to Use
Petcor can be used on cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies directly on their skin with no threat of irritating them. Areas of focus should be the head, ears and chest followed by the neck, middle, and hindquarters. Finally, the legs and tail should be treated last.
When to Use
Use Petcor when your pet is irritable and suffering from itchy flea bites. Petcor can be used to help prevent fleas, spray before taking pets outdoors or on a walk. If your pet gets reinfested from an outside source, you can reapply weekly.
Safety Information
Petcor Flea Spray is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Have on glasses and gloves when spraying to keep yourself safe during application. Avoid spraying the pet's rectum and genitals.
Special Considerations
Petcor Flea Spray may be effective in killing fleas on your pets but will not address an infestation totally. For total flea control, use this alongside other flea control products, such as the ones found in our 100% Guaranteed Flea Control Guide.

Q:Can I spray it in car without smell or harmful to children ?9/15/20A:I'm not an expert on this product, except that it works best to ask the manufacturer...and read the detections carefully, perhaps if you use it in that manner, give it a day or so, then thoroughly vaccum , clean then leave the windows down for a couple hours, minus the family.

Q:what will happen when I spray my cat and it starts licking it's fur, is it going to kill my cat ?10/2/18A:Iv not had any issues putting this on my cats. Best way that I find effective for me is to put it on the back of their necks & and down the base of their backs like you do their drops.. They can't reach those areas to lick them selves that cause me concerns. I Don't spray (so as not to scare them) I pull the pump out and drip it on them from the bottom of the pump. Make sure you hold them at the neck when do this because they feel the wet effect. Hope this helps.

Q:My dog is pregnant can I use this product?8/17/18A:The detailed information suggests asking your vet about using it on pregnant/aged/etc animals but it appears to be safe for kittens & puppies, so I doubt it would be harmful for your dog. I just wouldn't put it on lactating nipples and probably bathe her before she has the pups. It's a great product (I use it on my cats & dogs). Note, in summer heat, I put it in the fridge; under sink in winter. Good luck with the litter! K~

Q:Are there any potential side effects to the pet? Is it recommended to apply treatment on a recently bathed dog or a less clean dog?5/12/17A:Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or animals on medication. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Some cats may be sensitive to products containing pyrethrins. Excessive salivation and ear and paw flicking may occur; however, these effects are temporary and not harmful. May cause dermal sensitization (skin allergy). It would be suggested to do it on a recently bathed dog it will make this application go a lot smoother and easier to apply on the animal.
