NM Professional Deer Liquid Repellent RTU, manufactured by Nature's Mace, is a professional-grade EPA-exempt repellent that readily sprays to create a humane barrier on ornamentals, providing long-lasting protection against deer.

Rain, snow, or irrigation can reduce the effectiveness of traditional repellents, but NM PRO’s weather-resistant formula bonds to plant surfaces, maintaining its protective barrier even after water exposure. This means longer intervals between applications and more consistent deer control. Its dual-action formula targets deer both through taste aversion and scent, teaching them to avoid treated plants over time. NM Professional Deer Liquid Repellent RTU is an effective ready-to-use repellent concentrate that discouraging deer from feeding while keeping plants, pets, and people safe. Each 1-gallon RTU container covers up to 5,000 sq. ft., making it convenient and cost-effective for both professional and residential applications.

Tools Needed

You will need a backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or handheld pump sprayer. 

How to Use 

• Step 1: Look for signs of deer feeding. Shake the bottle well before use. One gallon of NM Professional Deer Liquid Repellent RTU will treat 5,000 sq. ft. 
• Step 2: Apply directly onto plants, shrubs, trees, and other landscaped areas. For tree farms, apply directly to the lower branches and leaves on the first row of tree leaves and limbs. Apply to the soil under the trees and out to 5 feet past the drip lines. For growers and nurseries, apply directly on the first four rows of low-growing plants & ornamentals. Spray a 5-foot (5’) barrier on the soil along the edge of the protected areas.
• Step 3: Repeat in 15 to 20 days for tree farms, growers, and nurseries. For ongoing prevention, reapply every 30 to 45 days.  

Where to Use

NM Professional Deer Liquid Repellent RTU can be used on ornamentals, flowers, trees, and along sidewalks, driveways, and non-grass areas.

When to Use

Apply during or before active deer activity. 

Avoid spraying in the mornings or after rain or irrigation if moisture is present on the plants.

Special Considerations

While this product does not wash easily in rain or regular irrigation, it should be reapplied immediately following periods of heavy downpour or consistent rainfall.
