The MistAway GEN III Remote Receiver Cable is a replacement part manufactured by MistAway and is used to replace a malfunctioning remote receiver cable on a Gen 3 Misting System. The CAT 5 cable (similar to a phone cable or ethernet cable) usually may fail because of water entering the connection between the cable and the Remote Receiver. If your MistAway Gen 3, Gen 1.3 or Gen 3+ remote receiver is not working, this cable may be what you need to restore your Mosquito Misting System back to normal.

Tools Needed

To install the MistAway GEN III Remote Receiver Cable, you will need a crescent wrench and paper towels to blot insecticide.

How to Use

• Step 1:Disconnect the existing cable from the remote receiver.
• Step 2: Remove the controller from the shroud and disconnect the cable from the controller and remove entirely.
• Step 3: Connect new segment of cable to the controller and feed the other end of the cable between the shroud and back wall of the unit.
• Step 4: Once the cable is connect, reassemble the Misting System and test to ensure remote mist works properly.

Where to Use

The MistAway GEN III Remote Receiver Cable is to be connected between the remote receiver and the controller on the back side wall of the MistAway mosquito misting system unit.

When to Use

You should install a newMistAway GEN III Remote Receiver Cable to your MistAway Gen III system when your misting system is not properly performing or responding to programmed remote mists.
