Bonide Thuricide Bt Concentrate
Bonide Thuricide Bt Concentrate is a natural, easy-to-use insecticide that makes it easy to control destructive worms and caterpillars on vegetables, fruits, nuts, shade trees, and ornamentals.
04/14/26
Bonide Thuricide Bt Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is an easy-to-use biological insecticide concentrate that helps residential gardeners effectively control leaf-eating pests such as worms and caterpillars within 2-3 days for various plant types.
This natural insecticide solution contains Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies, a naturally occurring bacteria. This product specifically targets caterpillars and worms, disrupting their digestive systems and causing them to stop feeding shortly after ingestion.
Bonide Thuricide Bt Concentrate is a non-toxic biological insecticide that only affects caterpillars and leaf-eating worms, ensuring beneficial pests like birds, earthworms, bees, and ladybugs.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or mist blower.
How to Use
- Step 1: Insect for pest activity to determine where to make applications and carefully read the product label for specific restrictions and application rates. Depending on the pest and crop, you will apply 2-4 teaspoons of Bonide Thuricide Bt Concentrate per gallon of water.
- Step 2: Shake or stir thoroughly before use. Pour half the amount of water into the spray tank, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the tank lid and shake well. Do not store diluted spray mix for more than 12 hours.
- Step 3: Spray the foliage of the affected plants thoroughly, ensuring even coverage on both the tops and undersides of leaves.

Bonide Thuricide Bt Concentrate can be used on listed residential vegetable gardens, and on fruits, shade trees, and ornamentals.
When to Use
Apply when pest activity is noticed on days when rainfall is not expected to occur within the next 24 hours after treatment.
