Bonide Japanese Beetle Bagger Trap Kit, manufactured by Bonide, is a long-lasting hourglass-shaped trap that traps and controls numerous Japanese beetles in gardens.
This non-toxic trap draws Japanese beetles away from the foliage in your garden and then traps them in the bag so these pests cannot continue their destruction. Its effective dual lure system with natural sex attractant and floral lure helps to protect areas as large as 5,000 sq. ft.
Bonide Japanese Beetle Bagger Trap Kit is an effective double-bait trap system that prevents Japanese beetles from escaping and hold thousands of these pests until you are ready to replace it.

How to Use
- Step 1: Remove vanes, bag, and lure from the box.
- Step 2: Attach the bag to the hooks on the vanes.
- Step 3: Peel the top from the Dual lure attractant.
- Step 4: Insert the Dual Lure vane slots with dispensers facing the vanes.
- Step 5: To set the hanging traps, hang the trap from a metal or wooden stake 3 to 5 feet above the ground at least 8 to 25 feet downwind from the plants you are protecting. For areas less than ⅛ of an acre use 1 trap. For areas 1/8 to 1/4 acre use 2 traps. Refer to the product manual for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 6: Be sure that the rod or stake is strong enough to prevent traps from detaching in windy conditions.
Where to Use
Bonide Japanese Beetle Bagger Trap Kit should be located about 10 feet downwind of foliage to intercept Japanese beetles heading toward it. Traps work better in bright, open areas rather than shade.
Do not place the trap near or in the foliage as it will attract more beetles into the foliage. Experience has shown that a height of about 3 ½ to 4 ft. intercepts large number of beetles.
When to Use
Apply when you notice infestations.
