Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer RTU
Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer RTU is an excellent ready-to-use lawn herbicide that offers complete broad-spectrum broadleaf weed control all the way to the roots.
Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer RTU, manufactured by Bonide, is an effective post-emergent ready-to-use herbicide that offers quick elimination overnight against more than 150 broadleaf weeds in residential ornamental turf lawns.
Thanks to its systemic action, the herbicide is absorbed by the leaves and travels down to the roots, killing weeds such as poison ivy, poison oak, chickweed, and more from within. Most weeds begin to show signs of distress within 24 hours.
Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer RTU is an easy-to-spray post-emergent herbicide that maintains strong control over numerous broadleaf weeds even after light rain or watering within hours of application.
Tools Needed
No additional application tools are needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer RTU to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Do not apply more than 22 gallons of product per acre per year or 4 pints of product per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not apply more than 2 applications per year with a minimum retreatment interval of 21 days.
- Step 2: Adjust the spray nozzle to give a coarse spray. Aim at the center of the weed and spray.
- Step 3: One application should be sufficient. Some hard-to-kill broadleaf weeds may require a second treatment in 3 to 4 weeks. If the lawn needs watering, water thoroughly before application. Do not water for 48 hours after application. Watering will wash off the weed killing material.
Where to Use
Bonide Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer RTU can be used on weeds in residential ornamental turf lawns.
Do not use on Carpetgrass, Dichondra, nor on lawns or turf where desirable clovers are present. Avoid application to Centipede or St. Augustine grasses unless turf injury can be tolerated.
When to Use
Spray when weeds are present on days when the temperature is below 90 degrees Fahrenheit and rainfall is not expected within the next 48 hours. Maximum kill of weeds will be obtained from spring or early fall applications when weeds are actively growing.
Do not apply to newly seeded grasses until they have been mowed 3 times. Do not cut grass 1 to 2 days before and after application. Do not reseed for 3 to 4 weeks after use.
Safety Information
