Bobbex Deer Repellent RTU

Bobbex Deer Repellent RTU, manufactured by Bobbex, Inc., is an effective, topical repellent spray that deters and prevents deer, elk, and moose from browsing and damaging shrubs, flowers, trees, and non-fruiting vegetables.

Unlike fencing or physical barriers, Bobbex works through a combination of smell and taste aversion from all-natural proteins and other safe ingredients, creating a protective layer over plantings that deer find unappealing. Independent testing by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station found Bobbex to be 93% effective, second only to a physical barrier.

Bobbex Deer Repellent RTU is a ready-to-use humane repellent spray that keeps deer, elk, and moose away from prized ornamental and non-fruiting vegetable plants. Once applied, it will not wash off. This repellents sticking agent allows it to withstand heavy rain, irrigation, and hosing, so plant owners don’t have to worry about reapplying after every storm.

How to Use

• Step 1: To use Bobbex Deer Repellent RTU, spray dry plant surfaces, including both sides of leaves and stems until thoroughly coated. A 32 oz. bottle will cover 1,000 sq. ft. 
• Step 2: After spraying, let the plants dry for at least 4 to 6 hours before watering or any expected rainfall. Once dry, the formula forms a durable, invisible layer that deer find repellent.
• Step 3: Reapply every 10 to 14 days, or after new growth appears during the spring and summer. Reapply every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on deer pressure and weather conditions during the fall and winter.

Where to Use

Bobbex Deer Repellent RTU can be used on shrubs, flowers, forest trees, and vegetables not yet bearing fruit.

When to Use

Use during the spring and summer every 10 to 14 days or after 2 inches of new plant growth, when plants are most vulnerable. In the fall and winter, apply every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the level of deer activity in your area.

Special Considerations

It dries clear, leaving no residue, and while there is a mild odor upon application, it dissipates within 24 hours for humans (though deer continue to detect it).
