Disinfect and Kill Bed Bugs With Steri-Fab

Steri-Fab is a product unlike any other in the USA or the world. With the ease of application and fast drying time, nothing else compares to Steri-fab’s convenience and effectiveness.

Steri-Fab is the disinfectant that kills bed bugs, lice, dust mites, mold, bacteria and more! Steri-fab literally has hundreds of uses and is easy enough for homeowner use.

Steri-Fab bed bug spray requires no dilution, is non-residual, dries quickly (in 15 to 20 minutes) and is undetectable when dry. This ready-to-use bed bug control product can be sprayed on most inanimate surfaces including mattresses, pillows, upholstered furniture, drapes, walls, floors, carpets, ceramics and more.

Steri-Fab bed bug spray does not contain any perfumes, dyes or harsh solvents, which translates into a non-staining formula. Steri-Fab has been popular in many commercial companies and government institutions. It is required by many states prior to the rental of bedding and upholstered furniture. It is a registered product with the EPA.

More About Steri-Fab

Steri-Fab is a contact killer made up of 60% isopropyl alcohol and has a small percentage of a synthetic pyrethroid. Due to being a contact killer, after it dries, it’s no longer active, so you want to use it with a good residual like Pyrid Aerosol, Phantom or Bedlam. These residuals kill slower but last longer so usually we recommend using Steri-Fab for quick knockdown and follow up with a good residual spray.

Based on recent testings, over a one hour period it was found that 100% of the bed bugs were knocked down and after 24 hours all the bed bugs were dead. Even though it’s a non-staining product, you always want to start with a small inconspicuous area just to be safe.

How to Properly Use Steri-Fab

Before you put down any kind of insecticide, it is recommended that you put on protective gloves as well as eye protection. We recommend starting with a very small application against a bed bug hot spot such as a carpeted baseboard. Less is more with any kind of insecticide so try to avoid over spraying a particular area.

On the seams of the mattress is another hot spot where bed bugs are normally found where spraying Steri-Fab would be useful. Again, use a light application so you don’t use a lot of the product. Hit the seams and folds very slowly and work your way through the perimeter of the bed.

When doing a crack and crevice treatment with Steri-Fab you want to kind of seek out any kinds of cracks where bed bugs can be. If you can fit a credit card inside the crack, the bedbugs can also slide in between. Along the perimeter of a window or a picture frame, do a light application to get into that crack.

In dressers, take the clothing out, wash and put them in the dryer on high heat and then empty out the dresser drawers and spray all the tracks in the dresser. A light application all throughout the tracks will suffice.

jennifer p on Jan 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, it is safe to spray around pets and humans. Make sure to take them out of the area while treating once it has fully dried it will be safe. It will dry very quickly in a well-ventilated area it would take 20-30 minutes depending on how heavy we spray.

Can you use it to wash clothes exposed to bedbugs?
A shopper on Jul 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We are a social services agency that runs a thrift store and homeless shelter. I've been told that simply putting suspect clothes in the dryer on high heat for some time will kill bedbugs. Washing with Sterifab not necessary. Steribab would be more for treating sofas, mattresses, etc. to the best of my knowledge

Great mite spray
I received the Steri-fab on time and I used it - one bottle for a huge rug. I sprayed it, it was as easy as 1-2-3, it wasn't choking and poisonous for my cats, we all lived afterwords. I was really happy with it. Although, I must say, the nozzle, the spraying lever broke in the middle of the spraying and I didn't have another nozzle in my home, so if you buy that bottle (as opposed to the jug), either ask the company for an extra nozzle or tell them you want something good and durable that will last the entire bottle spraying, or go get an extra spraying arm BEFORE you start spraying, cause once you start the spraying, it gets all messy and wet and you don't want to go out and buy a spraying nozzle - if you find one in your neighborhood - in the midst of your spraying job. It's just very inconvenience. So, get a head start! But other than that, it was all good.
