Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait, manufactured by Bayer, is a effective gel bait used for addressing various cockroach infestations such as German Cockroaches, American Cockroaches, Oriental Cockroaches and Smoky Brown Cockroaches.

Contaminated roaches will return to nesting areas and spread Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait throughout the nesting area through contact with others.

Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait comes in the form of a clean white bait that is less visible compared to other baits and is safe to use around pets and kids. Use in sensitive areas and many other commercial, industrial and residential locations to significantly impact cockroach populations.

Tools Needed

There are no products necessary as the gel bait comes ready to use. Optionally you can use Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait with a professional bait gun such as the Maxforce bait gun.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait you will need to use by calculating the size of the area in yards. To do this, measure (in yards) the area length and the width then multiply the two values (length x width = square yards). For maintenance programs the rate to apply is 0.75 grams of bait per square yard. For light infestations, use 1.5 grams of bait per square yard. For heavy infestations, use up to 3.0 grams per square yard. Gel should be applied as thin beads or round spots. The average pea-size spot is 0.1 gram. For bead sized spots, it is 0.25 grams.
• Step 2: Place Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait into cracks and crevices or openings leading into voids or make spot applications near areas where you have seen cockroach activity and feeding. While it can be used both indoors or outdoors, the most common area to focus on are in kitchens (think in the corners of kitchen cabinets where contact with dishes or pots would be unlikely, or under and behind appliances).
• Step 3: Wait a few days and reapply Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait in areas where bait has been consumed. As the infected cockroach goes back to the nest, it generates infected feces that the rest of the cockroach population feeds on, and as the infected cockroach dies, and other cockroaches eat its corpse along with its feces, the whole population gets infected.

Where to Use

Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait is labeled to be used for the control of cockroaches in areas where they are a problem: residences and institutional, warehousing and commercial establishments, including food service, food manufacturing and food processing facilities, stores, hospitals, schools, daycare centers, nursing homes, health care facilities, laboratories, computer and electronic equipment facilities, pet shops, zoos (indoor and / or crack and crevice treatment only), basements, buses, boats, trains, aircraft and sub-surface utility systems (steam / electric / gas / data tunnels, drainage systems and sanitary sewers) that are not storm or runoff drainage systems. May be used in both indoor and outdoor (adjacent to structures) environments.

Do not apply to areas where food/feed, utensils, or processing surfaces may become contaminated.

When to Use

Maxforce Impact Cockroach Gel Bait should be used when there is an indoor cockroach infestation that is quickly growing which can happen any time of the year.

Use only in areas not easily accesible to children, pets, and other non-target organisms.

Special Considerations

Before beginning your application of this product take care to clean your home or place of business before applying the roach bait to eliminate competing food sources. This will make cockroaches more likely to seek out and consume the bait.
