Dylox 6.2 is a granular insecticide. It works by both contact and ingestion. It rescues and protects lawns and turn from grubs and other insects that feed on them. This product can even penetrate thatch up to 1/2 inch thick. It provides rapid curative grub control in as little as 24 hours and has a longer effective application window than most competitors.

For Use In

Dylox 6.2 is for use in and around landscape flowers shrubs trees landscape and recreational turf golf courses and residential turf.


Apply when pests are seen or found. Turf should be free of troublesome thatch. Water the turf and cut to proper height. Apply granules using a broadcast or drop type spreader. Must water-in on the same day of application. Do not make more than 3 applications per calender year.

Coverage Area

One bag (30 lbs) will treat 10,000 sq.ft. for white grubs, bluegrass weevil, chinch bugs, cranberry girdler and mole crickets.

One bag (30 lbs) will treat 15,000 sq.ft. for webworms, armyworms and cutworms.

Time to Kill

Dylox has control of pests within 24 hours.

BEST ANSWER: I used this same spreader with Dylox for controlling moles with the spreader ser at 4.That seemed to work for me
Should I remove dead grass from grub damage before applying product?

BEST ANSWER: You do not need to remove dead grass before apply the Dylox 6.2 to your lawn for grub control.
How much water is needed after application?

BEST ANSWER: Enough to get it thoroughly wet, but not enough to cause run off.
