Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait

Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait, manufactured by Bayer, is an effective fipronil-based insecticide bait gel combined with a new technology called ContactX to eliminate cockroaches in commercial, industrial, and residential areas.

This roach killer bait comes in an applicator tube that makes it easy to apply in areas where various roaches hide. Delivers fast control over cockroaches in a lesser amount of time, as seen with American or Smokey Brown cockroaches in 8 days, while German cockroaches will be killed within 2 days of treatment. 

Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait ensures fast roach control whether by ingestion, contact, or spread from one location to the next. After foraging roaches ingest or come in contact with the bait, they will return to their harborage to spread the poison, systematically eliminating entire infestations.

Tools Needed

Tools are not needed for applying Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait since it comes in a ready-to-use applicator. This product includes the bait reservoir, a plunger, and applicator tips.

We do recommend using, bait stations, index or business cards to make applications in hard to reach areas.

How to Use

• Step 1: Locate areas where targeted roaches are traveling and then measure the size of the area you wish to treat in square yards. To find the square footage of the treatment area, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For light to moderate infestations, use up to 1.5 grams of Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait per square yard. For heavy infestations, use 3.0 grams of product per square yard.
• Step 2: Remove the plug from the reservoir and replace it with an applicator tip. Using the plunger, push the gel through the syringe until it comes out in a small pea-sized drop. Use Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait as spot or crack and crevice treatment indoors and outdoors to control cockroach activity. Apply near roach harborages or anywhere else you may have observed cockroach activity. To avoid stains and for easy cleanup, we recommend you apply drops of the bait gel onto index cards. Baited cards can be used to treat tight spaces like underneath appliances where cockroaches may harbor.
• Step 3: When finished, remove the applicator tip and replace with the plug. Check your bait placements and re-apply as needed. Depending on the severity of the infestation, continue to make applications monthly or quarterly for long-term control.

Where to Use

Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait is labeled to be used in and around residential areas and the non-food areas of institutional, warehousing, and commercial establishments, including, but not limited to warehouses, motels, hotels, apartment buildings, schools, homes, office buildings, boiler rooms, and garages.

This product may also be used in food or feed handling establishments, but you may not apply this product on surfaces where food or feed is handled or prepared.

Do not apply this product where insecticides have been recently sprayed. Apply only in areas that are inaccessible to children and pets.

When to Use

Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait is ideal to use as soon as cockroach activity is noticed, to prevent severe infestations. The bait will last for up to 1 year, or until it has been eaten.

This product may be used primarily to treat cockroach infestations, but it is also labeled to treat a wide variety of stored product pests, like drugstore beetles, merchant grain beetles, rice weevils, and more.

Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel Bait is safe to use around pets and children when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

Use this product only in areas not easily accessible to children and pets. 

Special Considerations

When applying Maxforce Magnum Roach Gel Bait, it is more effective to apply several pea-size dot applications than a few large dot-sized applications.
