Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait
Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait
Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are formulated by Syngenta to effectively eradicate rats and mice from various areas. Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are pellets that are packaged in paper to resist moisture but still release the attractant scent. The palatable and durable packs can be placed in hard to reach areas, like in between walls or small attic areas.
When Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait is used outdoors, the packs must be placed in bait stations. The anticoagulant, brodifacoum, works to kill targeted pests with 1 feeding and is irresistible with the specialized grain formula. The bait stays fresh for longer periods of time for increased attraction of rodents both indoors and outdoors. Talon-G also contains Bitrex, a human taste deterrent to prevent accidental consumption.
Order Talon G rodenticide to get your rodent problems under control quickly.
Tools Needed
To use Talon G Rat/Mouse Packs, you must use a tamper-resistant bait station. This is to prevent children and other animals from accessing and potentially consuming the bait. Tamper-resistant bait stations are also recommended for indoor use.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before applying any product, determine the type of rodent you are dealing with. This will determine the amount of packets you need for each bait station. For Norway and roof rats, use 4-16 bait packs per station, leaving 15-30 feet of room between each station. Use a higher rate for more severe infestations. For House Mice, apply 1 bait pack per station, leaving 8-12 feet of room between each station. For severe mouse activity, use 2 bait packs per station.
- Step 2: Locate areas where the rats/mice travel by searching for chew marks on walls or feces. Rodents also leave oil marks on surfaces like walls. These areas are where you will place your bait stations. We recommend sitting out empty bait stations for a few days so targeted pests will become familiar with them.
- Step 3: Remove all secondary food sources to prevent rodents from refusing the Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs. Place unopened Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs in a tamper proof bait station. Set the bait stations along exterior walls or fence lines with the holes closest to the structure. Refill bait stations for up to 15 days or until activity has stopped.
Where to Use
Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs must be placed within 100 feet of manmade structures. They can be placed in infested areas both indoors and outdoors. The bait packs can be used within walls, in attics, basements, barnyards, garages and other areas where targeted rodents are suspected. Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are safe to use in restaurants, homes, hotels, schools, office buildings and other areas, especially areas with humidity and moisture.
When to Use
Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are ideal to use when rodent activity is found. Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are great to use when the targeted rodents refuse other baits or when a single-feed rodenticide is needed for faster results.
Safety Information
Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are safe to use around children, pets or livestock when used according to the product label. Although Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs contain a human deterrent, it should always be used in a tamper proof bait station to prevent children and animals from ingesting the bait. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling bait and bait stations.
Special Considerations
Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are not to be opened and the pellets should not be used as a broadcast application. The rodents will bite through the packaging.

Keith's Pro Tips | "Wearing gloves when handling bait and bait stations is not just for safety, but to prevent contamination. Human scent will deter rodents from going near bait stations, causing the bait to be less appealing. Do not wash away the rodent scent from bait stations until the treatment process is completed." |
Product Drawbacks | Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait Packs are not ideal for use in snap traps, because the packs should not be opened. When baiting snap traps, we recommend using Provoke Mouse Attractant. |

Q:Will it kill moles if you put them in their runs?12/3/21A:Talon G Rat/Mouse Bait is not labeled to be used for moles. For mole control, we recommend using Answer Mechanical Mole Trap and a bait such as Talpirid Mole Bait or Victor Mole Worms to entice moles in their tunnels towards the trap. https://www.solutionsstores.com/answer-mechanical-mole-trap https://www.solutionsstores.com/talpirid-mole-bait
