NORDOX 75 WG CONTROLS YOUR FUNGAL DISEASES

Sometimes, crops and home gardens can suffer from more than pests and weeds. You’ll be surprised to know that your lawn can even suffer from fungal diseases.

Fungal and bacterial diseases are more common in crop and farmlands but they can also manifest in your lawn in many ways: as gray or black spots on plant stems, as darkened and slimy looking grass, or as brown patches (Click here to learn how to control brown patches) that grow in diameter.

Luckily, at Solutions Pest and Lawn, we offer numerous ways to combat these fungal diseases if they enter your lawn.

One of the products we offer to treat fungal diseases affecting your lawn is, Nordox 75 WG, which boasts an incredible amount of its active ingredient and could finally be the key to ridding your lawn of fungus.

WHY USE NORDOX 75 WG?

Developed by Nordox AS, established in 1886, a worldwide manufacturer of cuprous oxide (Cu2O) that provides ready-to-use fungicides to the forest and farming industries, these products have years upon years of testing and are primarily distributed to lawn care professional and industrial farms.

This product is especially effective due to its size, while many fungicides that use copper-based formulations (copper has been used in fungicides and bactericides for more than 150 years) have particles that average in size from 1.8 microns to 2.5 microns, this product has the smallest size particles of cuprous oxide, which are about 1.2 microns.

The small size of these particles found on this product allows for better retention when sprayed on plants at first contact and also for a stronger positive charge of copper, which holds on for longer periods of time against the negatively charged leaf surfaces of plants.

The high concentration of its active ingredient 83.9% Cuprous Oxide, makes it especially powerful in your fight against preventing fungicidal and bacterial diseases in your crops or plants.

The high concentration of its active ingredient equals to about 75% of Metallic Copper, the highest percentage of bio-active copper in any product available today and a great ally in protecting your vegetation and fruits against bacterial diseases.

Some of the diseases this product treats are Brown rot blossom blight, Bacterial canker, Blossom blast, Coryneum blight, Crown or Collar rot, Fireblight, Scab, Bacterial canker, Cane canker, Anthracnose, Melanose, Leaf spot, Downy mildew, among many others.

It also features long-lasting residual control that sustains its effectiveness even under high rainfall conditions.

Due to the high concentration of the product, only low doses of the products are needed when applying, which saves you time when applying and ultimately puts money back in your pocket.

The product also features a very low hazard classification, which is excellent for the environment and for people looking for a product with very low toxicity levels.

This product is also incredibly flexible, as it can also be used as a snail repellent for tree and vine crops as well as frost injury protection during the cold months.  However, it is not recommended in areas where severe frost is likely to happen.

This product can be used on a variety of tree and vine crops, field and vegetable crops, greenhouse and shade house crops, turfgrass, and ornamentals. More than 100+ crops, vegetables, and ornamentals can be treated with this product.

The product comes in a 20-pound bag that should handle most size jobs.

HOW TO USE

Before using and mixing this fungicide take care to read all labeled instructions and precautions and wear protective equipment (you can buy protective equipment here).

To use this product you will need a sprayer. Our easy to use and convenient Solutions 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer with lifetime warranty would be ideal (you can buy it here) for residential use or you can browse our professional tank and backpack sprayers here if you’re a lawn care professional.

It’s important to note that this product has different treatment procedures for each type of crop, fruit, ornamental or vegetation depending on the type of disease your crop is suffering from.

For treatment for each specific crop and disease and the recommended rates of mixture and application please check the label before applying.

The per acre use rates for NORDOX 75 WG are applicable for dilute, concentrate and aerial sprays. Where dosage and/or interval ranges are indicated, these may be adjusted according to disease conditions. For example, when conditions favor severe disease pressure, use the maximum rate and shortest spray interval. Do not apply less than the minimum recommended dosage.

A good practice to put into effect if diluting the product is to fill your sprayer or tank sprayer halfway with water, then add the product, then fill the rest of sprayer with water to ensure proper mixture of the product has occurred.

To use for fungus treatment in your yard or lawn apply 1/3 pound of Nordox 75 WG per 1,000 square feet mixed with 5 gallons of water.

Simply spray where brown patches of dead grass are appearing in your lawn or where you have noticed fungus activity.

Take precaution that Phytotoxicity may occur in some turfgrasses, so do not use as a broadcast spray but only as a spot treatment in areas where you noticed fungus.

After application observe the spots that were sprayed for about 7-10 days to ensure your lawn has not been affected.

CONCLUSION

With the highest concentration of copper of any product in the market, this is an excellent choice for industrial farmers when dealing with bacterial diseases in their crops, which needless to say should do wonders to your lawn or garden. If you’re looking for a powerful way to get your fungus problem under control look no further than this product.
