Have a customer with a pond has filamentous algae. Will this take care of it?
Mr JB on Sep 5, 2017
1. Identify form(s) of targeted bottom-growing algae
(Chara / Nitella or Filamentous) or Hydrilla.
2. Estimate the height of targeted plant growth (in ft.) in
the water column. This would be the distance from
bottom to top of plants.
3. Calculate surface area (acres) of the treatment area
(area of infestation) using the following formula:
Length (ft.) x Width (ft.)
43,560 = Surface Acre(s)
4. Refer to Table 1 to determine lbs. of CUTRINE-PLUS
GRANULAR ALGAECIDE to apply per surface acre
based upon type and height of targeted growth.

Works like a Charm
Used this as soon as it arrived in the mail, which was faster than I expected. I followed the instructions for the right dosage and used a hand held sprayer, with the solution diluted in water. I have a .15 acre pond, with a light algae infestation. Within 2 days my pond was clean as a whistle, the turtles and little fishies are swimming around happily. More than satisfied me.
