ULD BP-100
ULD BP-100
ULD BP-100 is a contact insecticide manufactured by BASF. It contains pyrethrum for a quick knockdown and kill. It is authorized for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants for control of a number of flying and crawling insects found in food handling areas.
ULD BP-100 is a fogging concentrate that treats a wide variety of pests in many treatment areas and is highly regarded because of it's quick knockdown and contact kill. BP-100 can be used in ULV foggers as well as thermal foggers and propane foggers since it is an oil based solution.
Tools Needed
To use ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate you will need a thermal or ULV fogger or hand-pump sprayer to use as a surface spray.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much ULD BP-100 you will need by calculating the cubic footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure (in feet) and multiply the area length times the width times the height (length x width x height = cubic footage). ULD BP-100 can be diluted at a 0.50% ratio at the mixture rate of 1 part concentrate to 1 part oil, a 0.30% ratio at 1 part concentrate to 7 parts oil, or a 0.15% ratio at 1 part concentrate to 17 parts oil. Each of these mixtures should be applied at the rate of 1 fl. oz. per 1,000 cu. ft. Dilutions of 0.30% and 0.15% can be used at a rate of up to 2 fl. oz. per 1,000 cubic feet.
- Step 2: Dilute the proper amount of concentrate to the equipment you're using according to the label and your treatment method based on your calculation. Take note that the product must be mixed with oil and NOT water.
- Step 3: Apply the product either as a space spray, to cracks and crevices, void treatments, or via fogging to the target areas you wish to treat.
