Fastrac Blox Poison Bait
Fastrac Blox is a rodenticide bait block used to eliminate rats and mice. The active ingredient, bromethalin, attacks the rodent's nervous system, causing them to die as soon as 48 hours. A lethal dose of Fastrac Blox can be consumed within the first feeding.
09/24/25
Fastrac Blox, manufactured by Bell Laboratories, is a weather-proof and moisture-proof rodenticide block formulated with bromethalin to kill rats and mice. The bait blocks are effective for use indoors and outdoors to control Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice.
Fastrac Blox is strong enough to provide a lethal dose in one feeding. Each Fastrac block has multiple edges to entice rodents to chew on the bait.
Fastrac Blox is a great product to have when combating severe infestations. The active ingredient, bromethalin, provides faster results with less bait than anticoagulant baits.
Tools Needed
Tamper-proof bait stations are required to apply Fastrac Blox around outdoor areas safely.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate areas where rats/mice travel by searching for droppings or chew marks on baseboards and walls. Remove all secondary food sources to prevent targeted rodents from refusing Fastrac Blox.
- Step 2: For rats, place 2 to 12 Fastrac Blox bait blocks per placement at intervals of 15 to 30 feet apart. For Mile and Meadow Voles, use 1 block per placement 8 to 12 feet apart in the infested area. For areas with high mouse activity, use 2 blocks per placement.
- Step 3: Place Fastrac Blox in tamper-proof bait stations. We recommend sitting out empty bait stations for a few days so targeted pests will become familiar with them. Place the filled bait stations along exterior walls or fence lines with the holes closest to the structure.
- Step 4: After one or two days, inspect the stations and replenish the bait until rodent activity has stopped. Keep the areas clean, but do not wash the station until the eradication process is completed. Using gloves, collect and properly dispose of all dead, exposed animals and leftover bait.
Where to Use
Fastrac Blox can be placed outdoors with a bait station or indoors in infested areas. The bait stations filled with the bait blocks can be placed along walls around the outside perimeter of grocery stores, barnyards, homes, hotels, restaurants, and along fence lines. Fastrac Blox can be used indoors and placed within walls, under sinks, attics, and other areas where pets or children cannot access the bait.
When to Use
Fastrac Blox is ideal to use when rat or mouse activity is suspected. It is recommended that areas that have continuous situations that attract rodents, such as barnyards, grocery stores, or restaurants, should also have continuous control and keep bait stations filled with Fastrac Blox.
Safety Information
Fastrac Blox is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling this product or bait station.
Do not place Fastrac Blox where children, pets, livestock, and innocent animals can gain access.
Special Considerations
Each Fastrac Blox weighs 15 grams and has a pre-drilled hole in the center for placing on the rods inside bait stations. Tamper-proof bait stations must be used when applying Fastrac Blox anywhere outdoors.
