Part of their Green Zone Brand, it contains a naturally derived active ingredient and is suitable for green service programs.

Its formulation of 10% boric acid (one of the oldest ingredients in pesticides known to mankind) ensures that pests that come in contact with the product are completely eliminated.

It is the only 10% boric acid granular bait available in the market.

The high concentration of its active ingredient, boric acid, also has the dual purpose of cutting application rates in half, helping you save bait, time, and money and makes it a great choice if you’re working with a small budget.

The product’s strong composition makes it incredibly mold and moisture resistant, ensuring that the product will not fall apart in areas where high moisture and mold are found.

Unlike repellents that serve to drive away the ants, this insect bait entices ants into believing its food and causes them to transport it back to the nest where further extermination of the population occurs.

Its proprietary mixture of bait matrix contains a blend of protein, carbs, and oils that are highly attractive to pests and will draw them out of their hiding spots.

Because of its high yielding application rates, this product is ideal for broadcast treatment and as perimeter bait. With just one pound of the product, you can treat 1000 square feet. So in other words, one pound covers a lot of ground.

With a high residual control, you can expect this product to keep working for up to 3 months if used indoors and outdoors. Its active ingredient, boric acid, will not break down from heat or UV light and the granites, which are moisture, and mold resistant should hold their own against light rain.

The product comes in numerous packaging sizes depending on the scale of the job. You can choose from a 1 pound shaker bottle, a 4-pound shaker jug, 10-pound zipper bag, and 40-pound carton of product.

This product is also advertised to be safe without the use of protective equipment so no gloves should be needed (Does not apply to California residents). However, a good policy to have is to always use protective equipment when handling any type of professional insecticide and pesticide products.

This product is labeled to be used in and around residential, multi-family, commercial, industrial, municipal, institutional, research, recreational, healthcare, educational, daycare, hospitality and agricultural buildings and other man-made structures, garages, home greenhouses, landscape beds, transport vehicles, sewers, animal rearing and handling establishments and food handling and food processing establishments. Turf sites include lawns, ornamental turf, parks, playing fields, right-of-ways, and golf courses.

Before using product take precaution to read all labeled instructions and always remember to wear protective equipment.

This product can be used in unison with our Chapin granular spreader (which you can buy here) when used outdoors and as a broadcast treatment. When using indoors, this product works great with a handheld duster (which you can buy here) to apply to hard to reach places like cracks and crevices.

For outdoor use and in turf fields three cups (or about 1 pound of product) should cover about 1,000 square feet. A granular spreader will ensure the product is properly placed and evenly distributed.

For best results, apply in a band from two up to four feet wide that extend out from the perimeter of the property. You can apply this product along the edges of sidewalks, patios, and driveways, as well as under decks.

Good areas to use this product in include mulch beds, flowerbeds, fruit and vegetable gardens, compost heaps, wood piles, in and around trees, trump and trash areas.

When using to treat ants outside apply ½ to an ounce of product directly to ant mounds and along their foraging trails.

For use indoors remember to only use bait in hard to reach places for children and pets. Apply at a rate of 3 oz. per 100 square feet. Using a handheld duster you can apply the product technically anywhere in your home.

When using a duster remember to always wipe clean areas where over application of product occurs, the product should be evenly spread and be unnoticeable to the naked eye.

Indoors you can use this product in attics, crawl spaces, trash closets, utility closets, dropped ceilings, on dirt or gravel cellar floors, under and behind appliances and vending machines, in wall voids and voids under and behind cabinets, sinks and tubs, in drawer wells, garbage chutes, pipe chases, elevator pits, around drains, around electrical conduits and in cracks and crevices where insects may harbor.

After the extermination of pests, you can also use this product as a preventive treatment by reapplying it every 4 months in areas where re-infestation is more likely to occur.

For a complete of list of application instructions and safety procedures check the packaging label.

How does it work?

Can it be applied while its raining?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, you will not want to apply if it is raining, the results will not be as high with Intice 10 Insect Bait.

Apply bait evenly over the affected area at a rate of 1 lb per 1000 sq ft or 45 lbs per acre. Do not
water the bait in. For mole cricket treatments, results will be best if the area is irrigated prior to
bait treatment. Mole crickets typically come to the surface to feed in the evening.

If you are going to irrigate then apply after irrigation.
