Wasp-X
Wasp-X, manufactured by Zoecon, is an aerosol insecticide that kills on contact and contains foaming action which provides a residual activity to help eliminate wasp and hornet's nests.
It has a quick knockdown which kills stinging insects immediately upon contact. Wasp-X also is equipped with a powerful jet spray feature which can reach nests up to 20 feet away. It's water-based formulation is easy on plants and reduces staining.
Tools Needed
There are no additional tools needed when using Wasp-X, but you should have on protective gear when treating for stinging pests.
How to Use
- Step 1: Shake the Wasp-X can very well before use, hold the can upright, back away far from the nest, (can will spray from up to 20 feet away) and spray making sure not to spray the product on yourself or anyone present and in a way that the product does not drift into undesired spaces.
- Step 2: Spray Wasp-X until the nest is thoroughly wet. Wasps in the nest will be instantly killed and residual control will occur for wasps that return to the nest later on. Wait 24 hours after application until removing the nest from your premises.
Where to Use
Use Wasp-X to treat for stinging pests found around homes and places of business. This product is labeled to be used both indoor and outdoor in places that include attics, steeples, mechanical rooms, barns, sheds, non-food-non-fed warehouses, garages, and carports. Look for places where the nests are built, generally under eaves, in trees, in shrubs, in ivy, and in sheltered spaces in buildings.
When to Use
Use Wasp-X when you have encountered wasps in the area of have discovered a wasp or hornets' nest built around the structure. Wait until dusk or early morning to use this product as hornets are less active during these times. Before spraying the nest locate the entrance hole, and apply this product directly into the entrance hole. Not spraying the entrance hole firstly and thoroughly, and only spraying around the nest, may not provide complete control and might entice the hornet or wasp to attack.

Special Considerations
Although this product does not call for other mandatory protective equipment other than a long sleeve shirt, long pants, and shoes and socks, we suggest you use eye and hand protection, such as chemical gloves and safety glasses, to avoid unnecessary any potential health hazards.
