Tools Needed

To apply Maxforce Complete Insect Bait, you will need to use a handheld spreader, push spreader or refillable bait stations.

How to Use

pushing a spreader

  • Step 1: Determine how much Maxforce Complete Insect Bait to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For outdoor use around structures, use 0.5 oz (one tablespoon) of Maxforce Complete Insect Bait per 25 linear feet. Around structures the total application should not exceed 4 - 8 oz per 200-400 linear feet (or 0.5 oz per 25 linear feet). To treat refillable stations, apply 1 to 3 oz (2 to 6 Tbsp.) of product per bait station. For outdoor broadcast applications, use 1 oz. of product per 1,800 sq. ft. or 1.5 lbs. of product per acre. To treat individual ant mounds, use 1 oz. of product per mound. For indoor use, apply 0.5 oz. (one tablespoon) of product per crack, crevice or other inaccessible areas where insects may hide or live. To make indoor applications in unfinished attics and crawl spaces use at a rate of 0.5 oz of product per 100 sq. ft.
  • Step 2: Adjust the spreader settings and load the proper amount of Maxforce Complete Insect Bulb.
  • Step 3: Start at the outer edge of the lawn and work towards the middle while pushing the spreader at a steady pace releasing the Maxforce Complete Insect Bait evenly on the lawn. Other areas can be treated with the handheld spreader such as gardens and patios.
  • Step 4: Reapply Maxforce Complete Insect Bait as needed.

Maxforce Complete Insect Bait can be applied to indoor areas where children and pets cannot access it, such as wall voids, attics, craw spaces and behind electrical outlets. It is ideal to use tamper proof refillable bait stations in other areas such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and more.

Cost a little high but mostly effective
Although it is a high cost item it is mostly effective. I have ants (pharaoh, carpenter and fire) over a large area of the grass. I used about 2-3 lbs (sprayed twice on areas with visible ants and around my house perimeter) and saw that ants are mostly disappeared. I still have the rest of the 4 lbs, which I intend to spray at least one more time. I would have rated it 4.5 stars but it does not allow half.

A:no lo sé. lo usé para las hormigas

  2. Q:Can I premix granules and use as spray?
    3/2/21
A:That's not how it is intended to work. As soon as you sprinkle it on a mount, ants come out and pick up granules to take back down into the passages where many more ants eat it and die. Works same way sprinkled where other bugs live, so I don't see the point of making a spray.

  3. Q:Its picking up sales tax and you/re in Texas and I'm in Florida. Why sales tax?
    1/20/21
A:Thank you for asking. Tax is dependent upon your state. We also have storefronts in the state of Florida.

  4. Q:How do I use it for ants ???? that appear in my kitchen on my counter tops?
    6/25/19
A:I use the granular outside only. The clear gel works best inside however I'm sure the granular would work fine. Either one be careful with pets and children so as they don't get any. Try and determine where they are coming from as a window sill and squirt the jell about the size of a grape and let it work. Takes about 3 - 8 days and the whole colony is gone. The granular I sprinkle small amount and it works on the ants other food source (protein). Good luck.
