MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait, manufactured by Bayer, is an effective bait product for ant control.
It is formulated with a sweet blend mixed with the active ingredient Imidacloprid, lasting up to 3 months to eliminate ants such as little black ants, crazy ants, and others. MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait is effective indoors and outdoors to encourage foraging ants to take the bait to their colony, killing the queen.
Unlike other ant control products, MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait holds and absorbs moisture, making it hard for ants to resist it. The ant bait can also be diluted with sugar water to treat large outdoor areas with multiple ant colonies or severe infestations.
Tools Needed
To open the applicator's tip, you will need a tool, such as a knife or scissors. This product comes with 10 bait stations.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate areas where ant trails are seen and where the MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait can be applied. Once active sites have been located, calculate the square footage of the area you wish to treat by measuring (in feet) the area length and width and multiplying the two values (length x width = square footage). The bait can be applied at a rate of 2 grams per 100 sq. ft. of floor space.
- Step 2: Open the tube and cut the tip off. Squeeze the tube and apply the gel bait to each desired location or bait station. Apply the MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait in cracks, crevices, and other small holes where ants travel.
- Step 3: Inspect areas where you have placed bait and reapply as often as needed until ant activity ceases or every 3 months for continued protection.
Where to Use
MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait can be used indoors or outdoors in areas not accessible to pets or children and can be applied to non-food areas. It will control various ants in warehouses, commercial buildings, and residential areas.
For maximum results, apply ant bait in cracks and crevices or wall voids near ant trails. MaxForce Quantum Ant Bait can be used around baseboards, cabinets, trash cans, sinks, behind wall sockets, doors, windows, and under or behind appliances. It can be applied for outdoor areas around porches, in weep holes, and in other places where ants find their way inside homes and building structures.
When to Use
This product can be used whenever ants are trailing and displaying activity. It can be applied as often as needed, and each application will remain effective for up to 12 weeks.
