JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks 709-PN
JT Eaton Peanut Butter Rat Mouse Bait Blocks are used to control rats and mice. This rodenticide uses the active ingredient and anticoagulant diphacinone to kill targeted pests. The bait blocks begin working within days after eating and contain a peanut butter scent that rodents cannot resist. One 9 pound pail contains 144 one ounce blocks.
JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks are manufactured by JT Eaton and are a first-generation rodenticide formulated with a natural peanut butter attractant and the active ingredient diphacinone. The bait blocks come with pre-drilled holes for easy installation and containment in bait stations.
JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks are ideal for use around residential areas and industrial areas or where large infestations are found. JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks will control for label listed rats or mice from up to 100 feet away from home or building structure.
Tools needed
To use JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks, you will need a bait station. This is required to keep children, pets, or non-intended animals from accessing the bait.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate areas where the rats/mice travel by searching for gnawed marks on walls, beside burrows, in corners and concealed areas between flooras and walls.
- Step 2: Remove all secondary food sources to prevent targeted pests from refusing JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks.
- Step 3: We recommend sitting out empty bait stations for a few days so targeted pests will become familiar with them. After a few days pass add bait to tamper-proof rodent bait stations. For rats, use 4 to 16 one ounce blocks per placement spaced 15 to 30 feet apart. For mice, place one 1 oz. block in a station spaced 8 to 10 feet apart.
- Step 4: Place filled bait stations along exterior walls or fence lines with the holes closest to the structure. Refill bait stations for up to 15 days or until rodent activity has stopped. Keep the areas clean, but do not wash the station until the eradication process is complete.
Where to Use
JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks can be placed in infested areas outdoors with a bait station in and within 100 feet of manmade structures. JT Eaton Peanut Bitter Bait Blocks can be used in and aorund residences, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural and public buildings, transport vehicles, and docks and port terminal buildings.
The bait stations filled with the bait blocks can be placed along walls around the outside perimeter of barnyards, homes, hotels, restaurants, or along fence lines. Bait blocks being used indoors can be placed within walls, under sinks, in attics and other areas where pets or children cannot access the bait.
When to Use
JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks are ideal to use when rat or mouse activity is present.
Safety Information
JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks are safe to use around children, pets, and livestock when used according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling JT Eaton Peanut Butter Bait Blocks or bait stations. Always use bait blocks with tamper-resistant bait stations when using outdoors. It is recommended to use tamper-proof stations for indoor placements for added safety to non-target animals and people, but to also increase the bait placement's efficacy.

Q:Can I just throw the blocks in the attic on different corner locations where I hear them most active with out a trap? I am quit the sissy to go up there myself.8/16/18A:You can go ahead and try that but if they do eat the bait, you may have to deal with them dying somewhere in the attic or some hard to reach place and they will start to decompose and let off a terrible odor. It's best to lay out traps. Don't worry, they are more scared of you than you are of them and likely will be in hiding when you place the bait.

Q:Can you get rid of chipmunks with this product?8/7/18A:You can but it would be better to use a more focused product for chipmunks like Nature's Defense: All-Purpose Animal Repellent. Check it out here. https://www.solutionsstores.com/nature-s-defense-all-purpose-animal-repellent

Q:do you smell the rats after they die?3/5/18A:Rats will live inside, but feed and forage on the outside, so you do have a chance that the rodents die outside. But there are scent products that will help eliminate the smell if it does occur. https://www.solutionsstores.com/rat-sorb-odor-eliminator
