Bait and traps sold separately.)

Each station comes with a key included for complete safety for pets, people, and wildlife both indoors and outdoors.
The Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Station's custom construction allows users to easily secure rodent bait blocks within the large bait reservoir by quickly popping in and out the included steel rods for faster rodent control. The bait station's intuitive design also allows for plastic rat snap traps to be inserted and held securely in place without the need to fiddle with installing vertical rods.
Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Stations offer quick servicing with an easy-to-unlock lid which opens away from the wall for faster bait reloading. Its smooth design also allows for simplified maintenance and cleaning. This high-performing, tamper-resistant bait station is for those who deserve a more economical and effective choice for rodent baiting.
Tools Needed
Tools are not needed for baiting or placing the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Stations, however rodenticide bait blocks with pre-drilled holes or bait filled snap traps are needed.
These stations require a key to be opened. You will receive 1 key with the station.
How to Use
- Step 1: Unlock the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Station with the supplied key in the single keyhole at the front of the bait station. Simply turn once in a quarter turn motion with the trapezoid end of the key to open the bait station. Be sure to wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves to hide your scent from rodents when handling the bait station and selected rodenticide products.
- Step 2: When you have inserted either rodent bait or snap trap inside of the station you can then place the stations along exterior walls or fence lines with the entry holes against the wall every 40 feet apart.
How to Load Bait Blocks
- Step 1: Skewer 3-6 bait blocks with the horizontal rods which comes with each station. Insert the loaded rods into the station's bait reservoir, sliding the rod's ends into the rod holders. Shut the trap's lid until you hear it snap into place. Once closed, this tamper-resistant bait station cannot be reopened without the key.
How to Set Trap Inside
- Step 1: Set snap trap within the station with the trap's arming end placed directly in front the small, vertical rod holders. The trap's kill-end should be up against the station's runway wall for easy approach by rodents. Bait the snap trap's trigger plate with peanut butter or seeds.
- Step 2: Once the snap trap is secured, close the lid to the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Station until you hear it click into place. When the lid has been closed, you will need to use the key to reopen it since it automatically locks.
- Step 3: Replace the bait on your selected snap trap daily to ensure freshness. Properly dispose of any dead rodents on a daily basis in the snap trap within this bait station.
Where to Use
Place the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Stations along walls and vertical structures with the entrance holes against the structure either outdoors or indoors. The best locations to place your stations will be where you have seen rodent activity or close to entry points along your structure. Rats will never go more than 20 feet from their burrow, so place stations no more than 40 feet apart. For a house with a square footage of less than 2,000 square feet, you’ll need 6 stations to cover the perimeter of your home.
When to Use
Solutions Rodent Bait Stations should be used to protect children, pets, or livestock from accessing rodent bait blocks or snap traps. Best used when rodents have been seen or there has been signs of their activity. These bait stations are also great to use when weather conditions can ruin bait making it less effective.
Safety Information
Solutions Rodent Bait Stations are safe to use around pets and children when used according to the product manual instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling bait and bait stations.
Special Considerations
You will receive 1 key for every 6 bait stations purchased, 2 two inch vertical rods, and 2 six inch rods for vertical bait placement with each station. Shop for an additional 4 Way Universal Key here.

Q:Will outdoor cats die from eating mice that have ingested the poison?8/17/19A:The answer to this question is dependent upon the bait that was consumed. If the cat ingested a bait that is a second-generation kill, then yes, the cat would be harmed. Check the labeling to see if the product is a second-generation bait.

Q:Assembly instructions - The traps came with a couple of loose parts (plastic trays of some sort) and 3 little metal poles. I get that the bait probably goes over the poles, but where are the loose plastic pieces supposed to go?6/9/19A:F

Q:We have a large chipmunk population, but it is only the mice that find a way in the house. Would rather not hurt the chipmunks, can they get inside & eat the bait? Which station will only allow small mice to enter? Thank you.5/20/19A:I work in pest control, and find that squirrels and chipmunk will chew right through the plastic to get to the bait.

Q:What about my dog?8/28/18A:What about them? Just kidding. If you are talking about keeping your dog safe, a bait station like the Aegis RP is great. Place the bait in the station and no pet will be able to get to it, only the rodents.

Q:Set out bait traps a week ago for Norway rats under my deck. I think there may have been 3-5 living there. When should I check the boxes to see if they need more bait? Weekly, every other week, monthly?8/4/18A:Yes, we would advise checking the stations every 5 days to determine if any additional bait is needed. Once the population decreases we can space the time frame further apart.

Q:Can I use this inside?10/19/17A:Under Application it reads: "Aegis RP Stations should be placed in strategic areas in and around structures based on levels of rodent activity". I personally would not place these in the home. The rodent will go off and die somewhere, and maybe in a place you cannot access to remove the remains.
