Kness are the Best!
I have used the Kness mouse traps for years. My last order for a dozen of them was in 2009. I still have two left. They are easy to bait and set. They are durable and catch many mice before they finally wear out. When they are worn out, it becomes difficult to get the latch to latch, so I switch to a new one. My one recommendation is to screw them to a board. They are light and a kicking mouse can push/drag them out of sight before it dies. I once bought a box store copy cat of the Kness design, but it was junk.

Effective mousetrap
Fall in rural Minnesota means mice moving into the house--the same mice that have chewed up wiring in our pickup truck, chewed up upholstery in our car and, once inside, continued making messes. Just last week we spent hours tearing apart a dryer with a mouse nest. Mice are not cute and we have maintained ""trap lines"" with other types of mouse traps for as long as I can remember. These traps? Great! Easy to set and deadly once a mouse gets near.
