Whether you’re a homeowner, a lawn care technician, or a property management company, you know that the key to a beautiful lawn, turf, or golf course, is the correct monthly maintenance.

Lawns and turfs need the proper monthly maintenance to maintain their health, lushness, and their ideal presentation. Lawns that are maintained poorly in the best case scenarios suffer from overgrown broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds, and in the worst case scenarios suffer from lawn diseases that kill turfgrasses and beneficial vegetation.

Thankfully, At Solutions Pest and Lawn, we provide numerous professional products ranging from pre-emergent herbicides that target weeds before they grow, to fungicides, which are ideal when treating your lawn for most types of lawn diseases and fungus.

One of the worst diseases that can befall on your lawn is Pythium Blight (click here to learn more about Pythium Blight) which often times goes unnoticed because infected turf becomes oily and looks wet with dew, when in fact it is infected.

When the climate turns warm this oily infected grass dries out and dies at alarming rates.

However, to prevent his we offer Segway Fungicide, which can be used as both a preventative measure and as the cure if your lawn is already infected with Pythium.

Manufactured by FMC, you get the best pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides available on the market and the ones that are exclusively marketed to golf course maintenance technicians. If it’s good enough for the pros, it’s good enough for your lawn.

Its active ingredient, Cyazofamid, works by stopping and affecting all stages of Pythium development, including spore germination, which is key to its growth and development.

Pythium has shown a lot of resistance to most fungicides in the market, which is why this product exceeds as a curative and preventative measure against Pythium as there have no signs of resistance against Pythium to this product’s active ingredient.

In fact, when used as the first product in your herbicide and fungicide rotation (this product has no known cross-resistance if used alongside other fungicides), it could provide faster extermination and prevent resistant pathogen populations from developing.
