Roundup QuikPRO is produced by Monsanto with a glyphosate and diquat blend formed into a powder for fast control of tough weeds. It provides non-selective systemic post-emergent control of most annual and perennial weeds. Roundup QuikPro comes in the form of water-soluble granules which contain a surfactant, so no additional surfactant is needed.

Roundup QuikPRO doesn't have soil activity, so it will not prevent weeds and plants from growing, but it will kill the entire plant from the leaves to the roots after coming in contact with the foliage. When the solution is sprayed onto the targeted vegetation, the plants will die within 1 to 2 days.

Roundup QuikPRO is easily applied with a pump sprayer to kill any unwanted vegetation growing in areas on industrial and non-cropland sites quickly.

Tools Needed

To apply Roundup QuikPRO, a pump sprayer is needed. We recommend using the Solutions 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer for quick jobs. For larger jobs try a 2.5 to 5-gallon backpack sprayer for easy carrying and less refilling.

How to Use

Spraying Roundup Quikpro on Fenceline

  • Step 1: Determine how much RoundUp QuikPRO you will need by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure and multiply the target area length times the width (length x width = square footage). RoundUp QuikPRO has different rates depending on whether you are treating an annual (1.2 oz in a gallon per 1,000 sq. ft.), perennial (1.5 oz. in a gallon per 1,000 sq. ft.), brush (1.5 oz in a gallon per 1,000 sq. ft.) or low-volume directed spray (4.0 oz. to 8.0 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft).  For example, if you have a 2,000 sq. ft. yard to treat for annual weeds, you will need to mix 2.4 fl. oz. in 2 gallons of water.
Step 2: Once you know the desired amount of product you need to mix based on your calculations, add the measured amount of RoundUp QuikPro to a clean, empty sprayer. Next, add the appropriate amount of water and then stir or agitate the sprayer until the product is well mixed. When using a backpack sprayer, mix the RoundUp QuikPro and water in a separate larger container and then, once mixed, fill the sprayer with the mixed solution.
Step 3: Apply the RoundUp QuikPro mixture to areas where unwanted vegetation is currently growing, preferably on a fan spray setting to ensure even coverage. Spray the foliage until it is thoroughly wet but not to the point of dripping or runoff.

Where to Use

Applying RoundUp QuikPro to railroad

Roundup QuikPRO Herbicide can be used for weed control, trim-and-edge, and bare ground applications in non-cropland and industrial sites, such as airports, apartment complexes, commercial sites, Conservation Reserve Program, ditch banks, driveways, dry ditches, dry canals, fencerows, golf courses, landscape areas, lumberyards, manufacturing sites, municipal sites, natural areas, office complexes, ornamental landscapes, parks, parking areas, recreational areas, residential areas, rights of way, roadsies, schools, sprots complexes, storage areas, warehouse areas, and wildlife management areas.

When to Use

Roundup QuikPRO Herbicide is most effective when applied to plants that are already growing above the ground. Apply on warm sunny days for more effective results. Apply when rain is not in the immediate forecast, and on calm days when wind speeds are low to avoid accidental spray drift.

Safety Information

Roundup QuikPRO Herbicide is safe to use when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when making any applications. We recommend that this product be applied by professionals on commercial sites.

Special Considerations

Each 8 oz. box of Roundup QuikPRO comes with five 1.5 ounce packets. Marking dyes can be mixed with Roundup QuikPRO, however it can make the herbicide less effective. Always read the product label before making applications.

Roundup quick pro will do the job
Roundup quick pro works great, been using it for years. I like the dry granules (vs the liquid) as it is easier and safer for storage.

Excellent effective product. Follow the safety guidelines.
Very quick delivery, included a complete booklet from the mfr telling how to use product and stay safe doing so. Several days after applying, the grass and weeds are turning brown. Very pleased with the product and the seller.

1st use of Roundup quick pro
So far I like what I have seen on weed/grass control with this product. It dissolved very well when mixed in my sprayer. My goal was to increase the strength of the weed spray and reduce the cost of buying the liquid version. I need to do the math once I have used up the ten packets I purchased.

I much prefer the powder packets to the pre-mixed liquid.
It's easier to order, to store and to use. The price was the best and free shipping clinched the deal. The product arrived quickly. I also liked the follow-up offer to provide advice and help. I'm just a home owner not a business. It's nice to get company prices on small quantities. I may not order much but in future I will check this company first.
