RedEye Termite Monitoring Stations, manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn, is an in-ground station that is 100% guaranteed to detect termites. Termites will cause costly damage to a home or structure and the best defense to combat them is early detection.

Red Eye Termite Monitoring Stations have a low profile design that will not obstruct lawn mowers or other lawn equipment. Stations are easily installed in the ground 5 feet away from the structure's drip edge and set 8 to 10 feet apart.

Installing Red Eye Termite Station in Lawn

The Red Eye Termite Monitoring Station has been specifically designed to improve the termite inspection process by allowing users to visually check if there is termite activity, reducing time and labor.

Each station houses a high cellulose attractant. When termites feed on the attractant, the "red eye" will drop from the clear view window at the top of the station. All you have to do is look down and look for the red eye. If it is gone, then you know your station has a hit and that there is subterranean termite activity.

Red Eye Visual Cue for Termite Activity

Once termites are detected, a termiticide can be sprayed in the porthole on top of the monitoring system for direct application to termite galleries.

The Red Eye Termite Monitoring Station is a one of a kind, safe and cost-effective way to prevent termites from reaching the home or structure, and significantly reduces the amount of time and effort it takes to inspect the property for signs of termite activity.

Tools Needed

To use the Red Eye Termite Monitoring Station, you will need to install it with the help of a power drill and 2" auger bit. You will also need Fipro Aerosol for injecting the Red Eye into the porthole when termites have been detected.

Installing Red Eye Termite Monitoring Stations

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how many Red Eye Termite Stations you need to put around the perimeter of your home or structure by measuring your entire perimeter. Install Red Eye Termite Monitoring Systems 8 to 10 feet apart about 5 feet away from the structure's drip edge. Based on your measurement findings, you will know how many stations you will need.
  • Step 2: Install the Red Eye Station by first drilling a hole using a 2" auger bit. Drill to the correct depth to accept the body of the station so that the top dome is flush to the ground.
  • Step 3: Determine if there is termite activity by simply looking down and checking for the dropped red eye. If the red eye has dropped from view, you know you have termite activity. Spray termiticide like Fipro Aerosol into the porthole located at the top of the monitor for direct application.
  • Step 4: Within 30 days of applying termiticide, replace the Red Eye Termite Monitoring System with a new station to continue monitoring the area.

Where to Use

Applying FiPro to Termite Galleries Through Red Eye Termite Station

Red Eye Termite Monitoring Stations can be used anywhere in the ground around homes and building structures. You should especially place in areas where there is excessive moisture such as around window unit A/Cs, water hydrants and other such areas conducive to termite activity.

When to Use

Red Eye Termite Monitoring Stations can be placed in the ground at any time, preferably before termites have reached the home or structure.

Safety Information

Red Eye Termite Monitoring Stations are safe for humans and pets when installed and used according to the product label. When injecting Fipro Aerosol into the station, make sure to have on the proper PPE for protection (gloves and protective eyewear)

Special Considerations

When installing Red Eye Termite Monitoring Stations, be sure the place them where they can be easily accessed and seen at the suggested distance from the home or building. Make sure the head of the station is flush with the ground so it does get damaged by a lawnmower.
