Please note that Ignite SC is only available in Solutions Pest & Lawn locations.

Ignite SC Insecticide is a versatile solution for controlling a wide range of pests in and around residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This is a dual-action, concentrated insecticide containing two active ingredients: bifenthrin and imidacloprid.

Bifenthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid and imidacloprid is a systemic neonicotinoid which work together to disrupt the nervous system of insects and work as an insect neurotoxin. This combination provides excellent control over various pests, such as ants, fleas, cockroaches, flies, and many more. Due to its systemic activity, Ignite SC is highly effective against vegetation feeders, and is commonly used as a preventive and curative treatment for a wide range of pest infestations.

Ignite SC can be applied in various indoor and outdoor settings, such as indoor and outdoor perimeter applications, spot spraying, turfgrass and lanscaping, and more.

Tools Needed

To apply Ignite SC, you will need either a hose-end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig. For small household jobs, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon pump sprayer or a 4-gallon backpack sprayer.

How To Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Ignite SC to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Do this by measuring the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage.) For general control, Ignite SC can be applied at the rate of 0.89 to 1.78 fl. oz. per gallon of water.
  • Step 2: To mix, fill your sprayer halfway with water. Use Ignite SC's convenient tip-and-measure bottle to measure the appropriate amount of product to put in the sprayer. Add the remaining amount of water to your sprayer, then shake well to mix.
  • Step 3: Apply the solution as a broadcast spray, or barrier spray around structures, or as a crack/crevice/baseboard spray indoors, or other approved methods mentioned on the label. For crack-and-crevice spraying, use a pin-stream nozzle setting to get precision spraying. For broadcast spraying, surface spraying, or perimeter treatment, use a fan nozzle spray setting to get uniform coverage.

Where To Use

Ignite SC can be used on turfgrass, trees (including nonbearing fruit and nut trees), shrubs, evergreens, flowers, ground covers, bedding plants and foliage plants and in, at and/or around residential buildings, office, commercial, shopping and institutional buildings and complexes, grounds, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, playgrounds, airports, cemeteries, lawns and interior plantscapes.

When To Use

Apply Ignite Sc for both treatment and prevention of listed pests. Apply on calm days when rain is not in the immediate forecast. Do not treat water-saturated or frozen soil.

Safety Information

Ignite SC is safe to use around pets and children when applied according to product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Keep pets and people away from treated areas until dry.

Special Considerations

Shake the bottle well before using. Because Ignite SC is a suspended concentrate, it can settle out once mixed in water. Because of this, we recommend that anything you mix up be used on the same day.

I recently purchased Ignite SC and paired it with Tekko Pro.This is the best stuff ever.2gallon sprayer mixed as directed, was able to treat about 1 acre of land ( aprox 20 mounds). 1 hour later dead ants everywhere and no runners. It does not take much, I sprayed small amount into mound and fan sprayed about 12 inches around each.Knocked em out.
