This permanent green turf paint restores depleted, and dormant brown turf to a deeper, greener color without hazard chemicals, heavy metals, and other inert ingredients harmful to turf. Simply apply in the cooler season for the appearance of a healthy, and active turf while its in dormancy period.
Green Lawnger Turf Colorant offers a fast, economical way to restore a dormant turfs natural coloration for long periods time and resists the harsh effects associated with harsh temperatures and intense UV light exposure.
Tools Needed
Green Lawnger Turf Colorant may be applied with a cement-mixer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig for large treatment areas.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before applying Green Lawnger Turf Colorant, cut turf to desired height. Apply 1 gallon of Green Lawnger Turf Colorant with 7 to 9 gallons of water for dormant turf. For a darker turf color, reduce the amount of water used. For non-dormant turf, use 1 gallon of product with 15 to 20 gallons of water. For divot mix sand, apply 6 oz. of product with the same volume of water then pour onto 100 lbs. of divot mix sand in a cement-type mixer.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Green Lawnger Turf Colorant, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until solution is mixed.
- Step 3: Apply the mixed Green Lawnger Turf Colorant solution over the treatment area until it becomes wet, but not to the point of runoff.
