Drain Gel Fly Killer
Drain Gel Fly Killer
Drain Gel Fly Killer, manufactured by American Bio Systems, is a concentrated bacterial gel used to clean out grease, grime, and other organic debris from drains or off of heavy equipment in order to control drain flies.
Unlike other cleaning agents, Drain Gel does not push the grease further down the pipes to cause problems later. Instead, Drain Gel eats away the grease with its properiety formula containg over 550 billion cells and includes a microbial grease degrader. Drain flies and gnats live and breed in drains compacted with waste, so when Drain Gel Fly Killer removes their habitat, it also gets rid of them.
Drain Gel Fly Killer is easy to use just simply pour into drains or spray underneath heavy duty equipment and other non-drain areas for a quick and effective removal of foul odors and grease.
Tools needed:
There are no tools needed for applying Drain Gel Fly Killer.
How to use:
- Step 1: Prepare the drain for the application but running 1 to 2 gallons of warm water down the drain.

- Step 3: After 8 hours passes, rinse the sink and repeat the application for the next 3 to 4 days.
Where to use:
Drain Gel Fly Killer is beneficial to have in residential or commercial kitchens, and can be used in sinks or drains located in restrooms and other areas where drains are present. Drain Gel Fly Killer can also be used as a spray to reach under heavy equipment, access cracks and crevices and other difficult to reach places.
When to use:
Drain Gel Fly Killer can be used at any time to remove waste and sludge from slow drains, cracks, and crevices, and out from under heavy equipment. Apply at night or when you know the sink will not be used for about 8 hours, then rinse away in the morning or once the time has passed.

Q:Will my house’ drain flies infest another house that I have traveled to?8/29/19A:No they won’t. They lay their eggs in the film that builds up in drain from food particles and such. They don’t live long enough for you to have transported them anywhere. I also found that putting a drain screen in to catch food particles you’d normally wash down the drain makes a huge difference in any further drain fly issues once you’ve used the drain gel to get rid of them. You don’t realize how much crap you wash down your drain until you start catching it and placing it I. The trash !

Q:I do not think my bugs are drain flies as they are very tiny? Is there another bug that comes from sink drains?6/9/19A:Drain flies are incredibly tiny until they "hatch" into an actual fly. You can see them walking around the sink when they are young and are almost microscopic but given enough time they will start flying and you'll find them on the walls around the sink/drain.

Invade Bio Drain, the orange product, will!7/20/18A:We've poured this through the metal drain covers of a tile shower and a plastic-type tub enclosure. Q:I have the little black drain flies in my bathroom. Nowhere else in the house, just in the tub, which is never used, but then they fly and land on everything. Trying to figure out what organic matter is in my bath tub drain which would breed drain flies?5/14/18A:It has been my experience that the drain flies live off the build up on the inside of sink, tub, and shower drain pipes and you would want to treat all of them. The drain gel will remove the build up on inside of pipes that the flies feed off of. I treated drains with hot water first and than followed directions on bottle to remedy issue. The life cycle of the flies is 10-15 days so you will need to keep treating drains for a month solid. After treating for a month, I retreat every 4-6 months and they have not returned.

Q:Do you use this product only once you have a problem with flies or should you use it periodically as a preventative measure? If so, how often?12/31/17A:Drain Gel should be used once a month as preventative to keep the drains clean and organic matter from building up. This will reduce the chances of fly infestation, and keep water flowing.
