This synthetic pyrethroid, known as Lambda-Cyhalothrinn, features an advanced formulation with its micro-encapsulated technology that helps gives it outstanding residual protection for up to 90 days.
Demand CS Insecticide easily provides general indoor and outdoor pest control with little to no staining. Ensures long-lasting pest control against more than 30 type of pests in residential, institutional, and commercial settings.
Tools Needed
To use Demand CS Insecticide, you will need either a hose-end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or professional spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Demand CS to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. You can do this by measuring the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). To create a perimeter barrier application around structures use 0.2, 0.4, or 0.8 fl. oz. of Demand CS Insecticide in 1-5 gallons of water per 800-1,600 sq. ft. For ornamentals, apply 3-5 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. To treat lawns/turfgrass, mix 3.4 to 7 ml. of product in 2-5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For spot treatments in turf, use 0.5 fl. oz. of product with 1-2.5 gallons of water.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer halfway with water and then add the appropriate amount of Demand CS Insecticide. Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with water and then shake the sprayer well and you are ready to apply.
- Step 3: Apply the Demand CS mixture in a coarse, low-pressure spray setting to the target area where you are having pest problems. To create an insect barrier, apply a band 10 feet wide around the perimeter and up to 3 feet high on a foundation. Use all around structures and in cracks and crevices where bugs may be residing. For indoor applications, retreat at 21-day intervals or as necessary to maintain control.
Where to Use
Demand CS Insecticide can be used indoors and outdoors around residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural buildings; recreational areas, including parks and sports fields; lawns; landscaped and ornamental beds; ornamental trees and shrubs, and many more. Indoors, Demand CS is limited to crack, crevice and spot treatments to treat where pests typically hide, such as on baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics, eaves and behind appliances.
Outdoors, Demand CS Insecticide can be used on turf, ornamental plants, and landscaped beds, as well as along structure perimeters as a barrier spray, around common entry points like windows, doors, along eaves, where wires and plumbing penetrate walls. Check the label for the full list of approved use areas.
Do not apply to pasture or cropland.
When to Use
Apply Demand CS Insecticide when pest activity is high. For most areas of the country, this is between March and October. You will want to spray ever three months if you want year-long control of pests.
Safety Information
Demand CS Insecticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow animals and people access to treated areas until the deposit has dried.
Special Considerations
Demand CS Insecticide is a microencapsulated insecticide so that means it can settle out once diluted in water. Because of this, anything you mix up must be used the same day. It is also necessary to constantly agitate the solution in a spray tank during treatment.

Q:What is the mix ratio of demand CS to 1 gallon of water to control wasp and carpenter bees outside wood porch perimeters?6/19/18A:Generally for bee types... 6ml/litre 24ml/gal FYI.... 1 US fluid ounce equals 30ml If treating carpenter bees, spray directly in holes. I find a 4ml / litre is effective. After 1 min the bees exit the holes and die.
