CB-80 Insecticide Aerosol is produced by FMC Corporation. It is formulated with pyrethrins and piperonyl butoxide (PBO) for quick results. CB-80 can be applied as a space spray or spot treatment application to kill flying or crawling insects. It is also a great tool for flushing insects out of cracks and crevices around bed frames, flooring, and cabinets. CB-80 is ideal to use against cockroaches, mosquitoes, bed bugs, and more.
Tools Needed
There are no tools needed to apply CB-80 as it comes ready-to-use with an applicator tip used to reach cracks, crevices and wall voids.
How to Use
- Step 1: The way CB-80 is applied depends on the targeted insect being killed and the type of area where treatment is needed. Determine how much CB-80 you will need to apply by measuring the area to be treated in cubic feet. To do this, measure (in feet) and multiply the area length, width and height (length x width x height = cubic feet). CB-80 can be applied at a rate of approximately 3 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet.
- Step 2: For use as a space spray, begin by preparing the area by closing windows and doors, turning off ceiling fans, AC and heating units, remove food items, cover aquariums, and remove pets. Shake the can well and spray CB-80 is sweeping motion pointing the can to all areas of the room.
- Step 3: Clean up dead insects and destroy the ones that fell and repeat this process as necessary.
Where to Use
CB-80 can be used indoors of homes, restaurants, warehouses, hotels, hospitals, barns, and other areas listed on the label. When used indoors, it can be applied to cracks, crevices, and wall voids around baseboards, plumbing voids, appliances, kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, windows, doors, and more. CB-80 can be used as a space spray or spot treatment application and applied in closets, pantries, and areas where targeted insects are seen.
CB-80 Insecticide Aerosol can be applied to outdoor surface areas where targeted flying and crawling pests are seen, such as wasps or roaches.
When to Use
CB-80 can be used when insects are seen or suspected in indoor areas. It is ideal to use against mosquitoes, wasps, cockroaches, and other insects that fly or hide in cracks and crevices.

CB-80 is safe to use around children, pets and various livestock animals when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment when applying CB-80.

Great knock down power
Being stung a couple times when opening the door of a storage unit, I went and grabbed my CB-80 to get rid of the yellow jackets that emerged. To my surprise, a 2 second spray into the locking mechanism had several come tumbling out to their death. I had always had great pest control with the spray over the years, but had never tried CB-80 for knock down power. Needless to say, their are no more wasps in the door. Great product.

The Only Thing You Need for any Pest
I have to admit that I started using this stuff in conjunction with a gazillion other items to control a silverfish infestation. I quickly learned that this is all I needed. I spray this stuff once a month, using it as a ""bomb"" of sorts, but also directing it into all of our overhead recessed lighting (as the bugs were collecting in the roof and then coming into the house through there). In the beginning I saw a light of dead silverfish lying around. Now it's been about 3 months and I not only haven't seen a silverfish -- I've seen nothing else either. Not a spider, a stink bug, an ant, nothing. This stuff is liquid genius. And pet and kid friendly which is key for us.

This stuff means business! Cockroaches are on their backs kicking the instant the spray hits them. But they don't kick for long, cause they are dead in seconds! Roaches don't stand a chance against CB-80.

FOR CARPET BEETLES: Spray directly on beetles, baseboards, floors, shelves and carpets. Repeat treatment as necessary. FOR CONFUSED FLOUR BEETLES, SAWTOOTHED GRAIN BEETLES, GRANARY WEEVILS, RICE WEEVILS, RED FLOUR BEETLES, GRAIN MITES: Spray into cracks and crevices, processing and handling equipment, around cartons or containers and other areas where these insects tend to congregate. Spray 30 seconds for each 100 square feet of surface. Keep area closed for 45 minutes to 1 hour after treatment. Repeat application as necessary. Infested stored food products in the home should be disposed of. FOR BEDBUGS: Spray mattresses, particularly around tufts and seams. Take beds apart and spray into all joints. Treat baseboards, moldings and floors. Repeat treatment as necessary. FOR FLEAS: Spray sleeping quarters, bedding, floor and floor covering where pets are kept. Repeat as necessary. For best results, use with a recommended pet spray on pets.
