Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent
Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent
Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent is an effective non-ionic low-foam surfactant that is used to enhance various types of pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides. When applied, the active ingredient spreads evenly and help your chosen pesticide remain on treated surface areas for maximum results.
Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent, manufactured by Alligare, is a easy to use non-ionic surfactant that helps increase the effectiveness of various pest control and lawn care products.
With its active ingredient, this surfactant will help to enhance insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides by helping the chemicals stick to treated areas. When used with insecticides, Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent allows the product to remain on treated areas longer so more insects come into contact with the active ingredient. When used with fungicides, this product helps the product spread evenly across damaged areas. When applied with herbicides, it helps the active ingredient penetrate the vegetation and soil so results occur more quickly.
Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent provides quick wetting, more uniform distribution of various insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and PGR's by breaking down the waxy coating on the leaf or plant surface on both dry land and aquatic sites.
Tools Needed
To use Alligare 90, you will need to mix the product with a insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, PGR’s and nutrients in handheld pump sprayers, backpack sprayers, or professional skid sprayers.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent you need to mix in with a selected pesticide. - Step 2: Create a spray solution in your selected sprayer with your chosen pesticide product. Once you have mixed the pesticide you intend to use, add the desired amount of Alligare 90 to the solution and shake the spray tank to mix.

Q:How long after I spray the Alligare 90 with herbicide can I water?12/10/20A:ideally after 24 hrs. But if you are in a pinch, I think within 3 - 4 hrs you can start watering. When plant is sprayed with herbicide, the first 24 hrs usually is the time most of the herbicide get absorbed thru the leaves, unless the plant has really thick waxy leaves, such as english ivy.

Q:What is the ratio per gallon of water for surfactants in general depending on the herbicide?12/10/20A:Depends on how far a gallon gets you I apply a quart of water per thousand square feet with a Zspray but 1.5 gallons per thousand square feet when applying with a hose from a tank sprayer Chemical and surfactant rates need to be adjusted accordingly. I never calculate per gallon, only per thousand square feet That being said, I typically apply .25 ounces of surfactant per thousand square feet when applying broadleaf herbicides Hope that helps
